Good positioning, bad hold
You get a plastic made tablet holder that is supposed to bolt onto a surface.Tested it on my desk, screwing it on a predrilled grille made for this, and overall it did the trick, it allows a good range of movement to the tab, in fact it's quite like a miniature monitor arm.Where it lost its fifth star is on the part that grips the tablet, it's quite flimsy and the gripping part itself is not so grippy...let's say, fine to trust with a hundred quids tablet, not so much with two grand of folding phone.

Good 👍
14" tablet fits fine. Hangs from the roof of our capervan for watching movies. Does the job perfectly

If the holder is not locked in place it can fall free of the arm.
The 'OHLPRO Tablet Holder for Car Dashboard, 360° Rotating, Adjustable’ arrived in a branded box. There are no instructions provided to guide installation of this tablet holder, especially warnings about attaching the arm to a dashboard. I would recommend that this should be placed in the hands of a professional if the user is unsure on how to proceed. The 'magic' arm used on this tablet holder is quite flexible in positioning and with the wing nuts tightened, it securely holds position. The tablet holder is of a simple design and to expand the holder it needs to be held near vertical and when looking at the rear where 'OPEN' is embossed by a button, and the arrows either side are pointing down; Pressing the button allows the holder to release the moving arm which is not spring loaded, it just uses gravity. My biggest issue is how the tablet holder is attached to the arm, and I have seen this before. The tablet holder has what are in effect 4 rectangular keyhole slots for the arm to attach to. Now taking into account the way the holder points down, The 4 arm pegs attach in the wider area at the top of each slot, and is pushed down into the narrow section until the locating pin clicks into place. The problem is that if the user fails to get the locating pin in place the holder can slide down till the 4 arm pegs are again at the wider area of the slot, and the holder and tablet are then free to fall to the ground. If the tablet holder were inverted, then the 'keyhole slots would work in the same fashion as any other keyhole slot that is installed on just about anything that may be temporarily attached to a wall, and even if the locating pin fails to latch, the holder is still supported in the 4 thin sections of the of the bracket.Another clue that part of this holder may be incorrectly assembled is that there is a 1/4in thread in the top of the holder which is normally used to attach a device such as this holder to a tripod, the connection being from below.Due to what in my opinion is a poor design where a failure to lock the bracket in place could result in a tablet falling to the ground with obvious consequences, I have given this bracket just a 1 star rating, and I do not recommend it.
