Genuine JoeRippled Hot Cup, 16oz (Pack of 500)

These are very nice cups. Heavy, well constructed, great feel in your hand with superior insulation values and a very reasonable price. The flaw? As many others have noted it is difficult to separate these cups. Once separated you are rewarded with a cup that meets or exceeds expectations, IMO, but getting there can be frustrating (and perhaps not as hygienic as you would like in a workplace setting). I found that banging about half a stack of cups on a flat surface a few times will loosen most of them but you still may have to pull some of them apart which is difficult without contacting the drinking surface with you hand/fingers or partially crushing the cup. I like the product a lot and am willing to work with this limitation but my application is personal use. A one star deduction seemed warranted for this inconvenience.

I have been a loyal fan of this maker of riffled cups. Their sturdiness was unmatched by rivals, and I could start the day with a hot 16-ounce cup of coffee, rinse it out and have a cup of hot tea, then rinse it out and set it aside to dry for a few hours until I would use the same cup for a iced beverage in the evening. The cup held up through it all.But not with this latest batch. The rippled tan outer sheet starts coming off almost immediately, and it feels as if the walls of the cup are ready to give way at any second. What's happened to Genuine Joe? These cups aren't the same as what I've bought for the last several years.

Great cup, doesn't need a band for cooling, holds coffee for days without leaking. There are several comments about the cups being stuck together and indeed if you are pressing the cup stack in one hand while pulling another out, the ridges will make it tight. If you lay the cup stack on your arm so that only your fingernails or fingertips hold the second cup down around the rim, then the first cup will pull out easily...

Extremely durable and the added rippled layer provides protection from hot drinks. Can be used multiple times unlike other products that may start to lose their rigidness causing the cup to distort.Sometimes the cups do stick to each other but not that much of a problem, may need two hands to pull them apart. If you plan to stack them on a table and having people use one hand to pick from the top then it won't be that easy.

I have been purchasing these cups for a number of years. Something has happened with the manufacturing of these cups. They are dissolving very quickly -- sometimes beginning minutes after we start using them. Very disappointing as these are expensive.

Best coffee cups for the office! They are hard to pull apart, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier.

great paper cup that has nice ridges to keep hands cool & supports the cup well.

Nice. Insulated. Stick together a tiny bit but twist them and they are easily detachable.
