this is the spiciest connector i've ever used by far. i have a pixel 2xl and i use sony bass boosted headphones but unfortunately i haven't been able to fully enjoy them because of mediocre connectors. i was considering getting new headphones but with this little bastard i don't need to because it basically mega evolved the ones i already had. the sound is so good my family could get murdered and i wouldn't hear it. i can hear colors with this thing. there are parts of songs i didn't even know existed. this is the dongle the gods use and they've been foolish enough to share it with us mortals.

Since getting my Pixel 2 XL a year ago I have gone through a number of USB C to Headphone Adapters, they always seem to break on me, some last less than a week and some several months. Seeing the positive reviews for the Kimwood I jumped on board. The Kimwood is more expensive than much of the competition so I figured the cable would be higher quality and last longer. The sound quality is really good, brings out the full potential of my headphones as some of the other adapters distort the sound a bit, crystal clear at first. The problem is that I have had the adapter for a month and a half and it is having a slew of issues, these started one month in. One moment the sound will cut out and it will pause my music or podcasts, which is really irritating when I am working on something, and have to clean my hands before taking my phone out and resuming. Other times it will make my phone have a seizure and start changing the volume, pausing, playing, etc as soon as I put it in. Then I have to take the adapter out and keep plugging and unplugging it hoping it will actual work one time. If I walk by something and the adapter hits anything from within my pocket forget about it. These adapters are ending up costing me more than a pair of wireless headphones, which I think is the whole reason phones don't have a headphone jack in the first place now so you have to "upgrade" the headphones but I digress. Overall if you don't mind buying an adapter every month this has great sound while it works, unfortunately the price $13 (at time of purchase) is a wee bit more than the competition and some have comparative sound in a 2 pack for a similar price.

While the sound isn't blowing anyone away, this is a extremely good adapter for the price. It's a tad bit quieter then the stock port of my Galexy S8 it sounds noticably better. (My daily driver is the OnePlus 7 Pro)Plugging it into my phone and plugging my headphones into it both feel solid. There is no wobble or jank in the connections. While the housing is plastic, and the cable isn't braided, it doesn't feel like it's going to break on me.Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

I have a Pixel 2 and have been searching for a replacement after losing my Razer USB-C to 3.5mm adapter (no longer available on Amazon for $20). Bought a generic adapter and had some static sound. So I thought I'd give this a try. Works perfectly with my Pixel 2! High quality sound, not sure if it's compareable to the Razer, but it's definitely up there (I listen to FLAC)!Cosmetically, the adapter has a nice gloss finish on each end and the cable has a high quality soft touch. Port fit snugged without big gaps on both ends as well. Overall this is a high quality product! I believe the company/seller is Japanese based on their GMail and the personal touch (letter) they have inside.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an adapter.

This is my 3rd one that is defective

I've had a heck of a time ordering other USBC- audio jack adapters-- two I got from a different company kept crackling and generally sounded like untuned radio static. This one from Kimwood has been perfect!

I bought this for my new iPad Pro 2018, and it works great, except that it doesn’t support the volume control function on my EarPods, although the pause/play function works fine. It sits firmly in the charging port and seems like a high quality build. When I contacted the company regarding the volume issue, they replied within 24 hours and offered a refund without question. That’s why I gave them an extra star, for their prompt and excellent customer service. Recommended for those who don’t want to be limited to wireless earbuds.
