ONDURA 174M Corrugated Asphalt Roofing (10-Pack), Mid West Green

These Ondura panels were a blessing when it came to roofing my new shed. Lightweight ,waterproof and easy to install, these panels gave me the look I wanted and were much cheaper than metal or shingles. I had figured the 10 pack would be sufficient and had them delivered for free. The cost on Amazon was cheaper than the manufacturer and the free shipping saved me over 100$.That being said I did not allow for the overhang on the front and back gable ends. ( this allows you to avoid metal drip edge by using the panels as your drip edge/flashing). I came up one piece short and no store within 200 miles had the mid west green color to replace it with. My local Lowe's had the Ondura panels but they were brown and a slightly different design (see pic). These panels take any sort of paint easily. I simply spray painted the brown panel with a "close enough" shade of green. The great thing about the panels design is that even a different style will still fit together on the edges. The ridge caps could be a little wider IMHO but the installation was still easy. Get you some same colored nails from Ondura ,vent strips and ridge caps and you will have the roofing done in no time. They are very forgiving when it comes to minor adjustments , I would recommend these panels to do-it-yourself type of people. No contractors or precision measuring required. I don't know how easy the installation would be for a large house with hips,valleys and chimneys but I am lent to believe that all of the needed accessories are available. Wish I could get better pics but due to the slope of our yard I could not get anywhere close to a "bird's eye" view. I will be using these panels again on my chicken coop as well as my next shed project. I highly recommend these Ondura panels for sheds,outbuildings,etc. Looks great and cost less than the other alternatives.
