Great
I bought these 3 years ago and still use them! I typically use them to draw on fondant and sometimes the powdered sugar clogs up the tip a bit but if I take a break it’s fully saturated again. None have dried out on me yet and I like how dark the color comes out.

Highly recommend for writing on Royal Icing for cookies
I use these markers all the time for writing on sugar cookies. I have attached a few pictures for your reference. They never disappoint and all the color options provide a great variety!

Awesome markers for cookies!
The colors worked great! I like the variety of colors offered in this pack. Loved the way the ink dried on my cookies. I do like to put some powdered sugar over the ink to ensure that they don’t bleed on the packaging (just out of habit because I’ve had to do that with other markers) so I’m not sure if that’s a problem with these!

A hit at our holiday Cookie Decorating Party
I bought these on a whim for our annual Cookie Decorating Party as an alternate to sprinkles or icing. Several of our guests had a lot of fun with the markers. I gave them them 4 stars because the colors seemed a bit dry - if they were regular markers I'd say they were a little old. But maybe it's just a feature of developing a food safe formula? That said, there were some really interesting uses of the markers. One guest used them to decorate his gingerbread people - clothing, jewerly, faces and hair - entirely with the markers. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of them. But I found this picture, which is mostly of iced cookies - but if you look closely in the upper left, you'll see a red and green plaid in the background. That was drawn onto a sugar cookie using the markers (again, by one of my guests).I would definitely consider purchasing them again!

Great Colors & SUPERFINE Detail!!!
I was very surprised at how detailed drawings made with these markers could be. The tips are very fine, but also quite broad at the base. This means that if you draw with the marker positioned vertically the lines it makes are very thin, but the markers can also be used at an angle to color in large areas quickly using the side of the conical tip. The colors were great - very vivid! A NOTE OF IMPORTANCE: these markers work best to draw on HARD-FROSTED surfaces. They are not especially good for drawing on soft frosting. As to drawing on unfrosted cookies, your results will depend on how smooth or rough the surface of the cookie is. I have not tried using the markers to draw on fondant, but I would guess that they work quite well for that too.

They do what they’re meant for
These do work however they did not work great for what I needed them for, I did make it work though. Just a tip if it is something cold or damp these do not work great. Still came out cute though.

Don't give up too soon on these!
I read a lot of reviews that said the ink was dry and the pens didn't write very well but I took a chance and ordered these because it had all the colors I needed for my project. Straight out of the package, I can see why people would get frustrated with these and give up. They didn't start out writing very well at all but I was determined to not go back out of the house to buy replacements for these so I kept trying, and after a few minutes the ink really started coming out darker. I noticed the lighter I pressed down, the better they worked. I also would place the cap back on and take small breaks in between to "rest" the pens, and that helped too. All in all, I'm very happy with how my fondant faces came out, and would recommend these!P.S. I used these pens on fondant that had dried for two weeks. I'm not sure they'd work as well on pliable, soft fondant.

Excellent for fine work
Work just like a pen. Was able to write initials on a heart on the trunk of a 4” tree cookie. The dark colors work very well. The pale colors may not be very legible. I have Wilton and Americolor markers and I like these much better. Very fine tip, doesn’t go thick with brief use like I have experienced with other brands. Very pleased to have found such a high quality product.
