Great print, great paper, great quality. As for the content, is what I expected. My kid loved it [more importantly, I did :) ] Honestly I thought it'd be just a tiny bit bigger, but for a boy is just perfect.I have a few and my little Padawan loves them. He was really happy with this new one. He's a Vader fan.Verdict: Good book, excellent price!

I originally purchased this book for my son. He has enjoyed reading it to me, but really enjoys it when I read it with him. Being a Star Wars nut since the late 1970's I often wondered what happened between the birth of Darth Vaders and Luke Skywalker's adventure. It is neat to read this book with him as we now share another interest together. It was as interesting to me as it was my son. Good book.

My 7 year old Grandson loves Star Wars. This book was a double bonus because he is reading.

Our 6 year old son is obsessed with Star Wars. These books are great for his reading and keep his attention from start to end. Lots of glossy pictures and short punchy sentences keep him focused.

Subject matter my Down Syndrome son is interested in at a level he can read. He's loved Batman since he was in kindergarten. Thanks to DK readers for this one.

I'm a huge fan of DK Readers -- the photographs are always extraordinary and the books are always well done.This DK Dark Side book is a hit, loaded with stills from the movies. All the bad guys you love to hate -- how exciting is that?47 pages, plus glossary.

These DK readers are a great way to stimulate your child to read. By choosing something they are interested in, you can get them find true enjoyment in reading. As one thing may lead to another, you might then get them to read other things. In my case, I later gave my daughter "the Universe" DK reader, which is a trully fantastic book.

My 8 years old son's reading level has gone up 2.5 levels in 2 months since buying hime these books!!! The only books I have bought him that he will voluntarily sit and read himself with no prompting. He takes them to school too as a 'Reference Guide' for their playground games. Only downside is that there aren't more Star Wars titles available! I have bought them all.Reasonably well written, great illustrations and lots of interesting facts to keep reluctant readers engaged and stop from them from feeling overwhelmed and / or quickly bored.

Downloaded this book for my son, aged 6. I got the age group all wrong with DK Reader Level 4 books and the writing was too advance for his reading level. A guide to the DK reading levels would have useful. However, my son did enjoy this book and the picture were clear on our tablet.Next time I will download the right level. Any Star Wars fan will appreciate these facts about the Dark Side!

My son absolutely loves this kindle book and practically reads it every day! The only thing I think wrong with the illustrated kindle books is that the font is always tiny, I have to get a magnifying glass to read the odd word my son can't read. Although a level 4 book, my son reads this himself with ease. Well worth the money.

A great book for young Star Wars fans and for readers. We got this for our 5 year old son to read on his Kindle Fire. He happily read it right through. The other DK Star Wars books are really good too.

This is not an eBook it's merely the paper back that has been scanned into digital format, the pages don't turn properly and when you zoom in the text becomes blurred. Absolute load of rubbish. What a disappointment.
