Digital Therapy Machine - Great Pain Reliever !!! 8 Modes / 4 Pads

My wife has trouble with back pains and finds that she gets relief from a TENS machine. With this unit being so inexpensive it makes one worry that it is junk. So, she bought this and a more expensive model. Between the two, she likes this one better.Most of the sellers ship from China and can take weeks to arrive. Important! - click on the "23 new from $8.16" (right side, below the "add to cart button) and look for a seller in the US. You can get it two days.My wife has had this unit for a week and it works fine. It is light weight and runs on three AAA batteries (included). If you don't want to keep buying batteries, it also has a power cord with a European plug. Useless in the US. However, the power cord is a USB cable. It take one second to swap out the European power plug with cell phone's power plug. Most of us have extras of these kicking around.Most of the controls are in Chinese. One of the buttons make some of the display change to English. Happily, none of this matter much as it was easy to figure out how to operate it.As I said, she has only had it a week so I can't say if it will still be working in a year. Time will tell.

I laughed when I saw the price on these but then saw the reviews and just had to try one. Was I ever surprised. This thing is awesome! I finally found a stim unit with enough power and patterns (modes) to actually work well and at a small fraction of the cost of others I've tryed and not liked. For under 10 bucks you don't get batteries or a plush carry case like some others expect. You don't even get a box. It ships loose in a padded mailer. It arrived in just over a week air mail from China. (faster than Amazon's free shipping sometimes is). It's a really thin case but the buttons are solid and I've knocked mine on to the floor several times with no damage. I bought myself a spare, one for my wife, and a couple for friends and we all love them. The power cord is short and the pads that came with it are crap. Do yourself a favor and go online and buy Ultra Stim pads from a medical supply house. They have a silver grid that insures even conduction with no stinging and an excellent adheasive. They cost a little over a dollar each but can be used 20 to 30 times making them an excellent deal. Usually you get what you pay for but sometimes you get lucky like with this one. I highly recommend this unit.

I don't quite understand what benefits are gained by this gadget but it doesn't do a thing for my back muscles.For $9.99 it was still well worth the money though! When you hook it up to arm muscles it is fun to watch your arms jump and your hands twitch involuntarily. Could be dangerous if someone used this thing over their heart so I seriously don't recommend that!The other reason this is worth the money is the instruction manual. The Chinese to English translation is absolutely hilarious! I love reading it to people out loud.As a therapeutic device, it doesn't do anything for me but for comedic relief, it is cheaper than a night at a comedy club.

I had some doubts in buying this products, but I thought it would work for what I needed. I have some tension in my shoulders due to stress and poor posture when sitting and studying (student) and thought it would work. Well like some of the other reviews I read once you put the the strength higher it feels more like your getting electrical shock. I will talk probably talk to physical therapist and get a recommendation.

I got a faulty unit. It seems the AC adapter was not kicking in like it should. So I emailed the company and told them about it. And they without hesitation offered to send me a replacement unit. It seems that the company really stands behind their product. So don't worry about that too much. Just get the thing. It's a good deal.

Does pretty well. It does tend to sting a little. If you can endure the stinging, the result of using is pretty good. It has a nice strong current. Serch for and buy the ultra stim pads. The ones that come with it aren't great. It is certainly worth the price.

Works well as far as I can tell. The only negative I can see is more instruction on use is needed in English This is my first experience with this type of equipment.
