Plackers- I grind my teeth no more.
My dentist doesn't scold me anymore about grinding my teeth at night. I've had the expensive molded night guards that are big, clumsy, and uncomfortable. I like these Plackers grind no more guards. I use them regularly and will be adding them to my recurring order on Amazon so they will reorder and come every month. These may not be right for everyone and I won't tell you that they will work for you. If you have trouble with those big uncomfortable night guards, you might want to give these a try.

Only night guard that I will use for a fraction of price and a 100x the comfort
Only night guard worth using on the Market , amazing!! You could wear them all day that’s how comfy they are . You can wear them on bottom teeth or top . “ it’s your choice” I’m having a full set of cosmetic veneers and the crown lengthening is excruciating especially the surgical work on my gums pulled back. I was amazed with the comfort with these and that they are disposable as well , I’m honestly thinking of saving $800 for my night guard that I will get once-“@ll said and done and continue these forever. So please DO NOT DISCONTINUE! Thank you so much for the awesome night guards!! So Brilliant!! AMAZING!! no need to shop further they are here at your finger tips also perfect for TMJ

FINALLY Able to keep a bite guard in all night!
RE: Plackers Grind No More Night Guard, Nighttime Protection for Teeth, BPA FreeUPDATE MAR 2024: Reduced from 5 to 4 stars. These are still the only ones that work for me, except I'm finding with new batch, SOMETIMES I have to take them out within 20 min because I start having an asthma cough. The previous batches did not do this. THEN I came on here and saw someone mention their latest had intense chemical smell. Mine don't have the smell, but something about them is suddenly triggering asthma cough. SO sad, because these are the only that worked and now I can't use or trust getting them.I can't say for SURE that these are the cause, because they don't always trigger the asthma cough, but weird it coincides so quickly with putting them on when it does. After a few days of prednisone it stopped, so maybe my asthma is extra sensitive right now, but I do hope the company acknowledges the necessity for these to be non-allergenic for everyone.-------------------------------------ORIGINAL 5 star review:I've been through every type of guard, and here we have the simplest piece of all, no "fitting to teeth," and yet FINALLY something I can use.Apparently I have extreme clenching/grinding at night (like so many of us now), but it has recently resulted in some crazy bad symptoms that almost cause some unnecessary dental work thinking I had a dying or exposed nerve. Turns out 2 things were actually going on: TMJ from all the clenching, and some serious seeming nerve pain (any temp liquids would cause a flash of horrible pain on one side). The latter, (upon insisting on seeing my regular dentist again before an endodontist the office was sending me to), ended up being a month-old POPCORN KERNAL jammed way up into gums that no amount of flossing removed. LIKE I SAID it was in the first place, but nothing was found because pain was referring to the bottom side when it was upper. So that horrific pain was gone but the milder TMJ pain and my usual sensitive teeth as a result of that and years of brushing too hard, remained. In addition to specifically using Pronamel REPAIR (NON-whitening) after a lot of research, I knew I had to make the bite guard thing work. In the past I had one from the dentist, but couldn't keep it in, stopped, then lost it. This time I bought 2 from Dentek, a full one and a partial one, both that mold to your teeth. That would be a great option for anyone who IS able to keep them in all night, but I just couldn't, and instead of longer each night it got shorter and I wasn't getting sleep. Finally, scrolling through here for more options I saw these. My first thought was "Yikes, I'd probably swallow it (my fear) since it's so small." Then I looked at a pic that someone posted and saw that, on these, the hoop part actually goes above your front teeth! I immediately ordered a 16 pack because I knew that this would work for me, because in addition to the hoop holding it from the front, it just had 2 little rectangles that sit between those back teeth, stopping them from making contact with each other.Happy to report it stayed in ALL NIGHT, and I am one of those people terrified of anything getting stuck in my throat. That front hoop stops that from happening and it goes even higher up above the front teeth than the pic showed. This is the bite guard you will least feel than any of them. I would never believe I could keep one in all night. I might even occasionally wear one during the day when I'm feeling stressed and ornery about something. It isn't going to solve the sensitivity due to worn enamel or TMJ in just a few uses, but I certainly feel better and on the right path.In the morning I put it in a little cup of Listerine antiseptic mouthwash to clean it. It looks like they say each one can be used "up to 48 times," so if you get a month to a month & a half out of each one, that's an added bonus!Obviously if you have some complicated teeth or jaw issue that requires a custom fit by your dentist to accomplish other things for some reason, use that. But if you're having problems grinding and can't abide normal guards, don't be me and wait until you're "scared straight" and HAVE to do it.Whether you KNOW you're grinding or clenching or not, believe me, your dentists WILL know, you may have to ASK him. Mine originally asked me if I was clenching and I said "not that I know of," and he sounded flustered and said "you're clenching like there's no tomorrow!" I then started paying attention and realized I was even doing it during the day and had to be more cognizant of relaxing the jaw. So they may not tell you, ask if there are indications.Thank you Plackers! I always love your floss pics and now these bite guards are an option for those of us who feel like there are no options. PLEASE never stop making these, it is the only thing like it out there, and people are going to need them now more than ever in these stressful times.

These were different and seemed too simple to work
Why did you pick this product vs others?:These were different and seemed too simple to work. They are lightweight, reusable and have fulfilled my need to stop grinding at night. Nothing to mold or fit, they simply keep my back teeth raised enough with a bit of cushioning I find more helpful than a hard custom mouthpiece my dentist made.

Clench & grind away, these have your protected!
Amazing! I tried the molded mouth guards and they aren't as easy to mold like the advertising suggests. They were also very bulky. These stay put at night, don't increase drooling and are very comfortable to wear. But, most importantly, they are protecting my teeth from the near-constant clenching and grinding I do.

Great Purchase for Teeth Grinding
My husband grinds his teeth when he sleeps and these have helped so much. He sleeps better and wakes with less headaches from the grinding. He uses one for about a week and then changes it out. They hold their shape well and they are sturdy. Great purchase.

Too big for my mouth
It doesn’t work for me. It’s too big and uncomfortable. I tried cutting it but that didn’t work. I found the only thing that works is an old retainer I have. It’s very thin plastic-like material and fits over my teeth. I just wear the one for the bottom teeth.

Convenient and Effective Night Guard for Teeth Grinding
I’ve been using the Plackers Night Guard for a while now, and it’s been a game changer for my sleep. I grind my teeth at night, and this disposable night guard is super easy to use. The "ready to wear" design is convenient, no boiling or molding required. I just pop it in and it stays in place comfortably throughout the night. The fit is decent for a one size fits all, though it may feel a bit large for people with smaller mouths. For me, it’s been a good balance between comfort and protection. It’s BPA free, which is a plus and I appreciate that it’s disposable, no need for cleaning or worrying about buildup. The only downside is that they’re disposable, so you do have to replace them every so often, which can be costly over time. But for the price, it’s worth the convenience of not having to fuss with custom fit guards.Overall, I’m happy with the Plackers Night Guard. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a no hassle, effective solution to teeth grinding.
