Thank God I read the reviews!! I bought this as a piece for my costume so that's why I gave it 4 stars (it's exactly what I need in an easy costume, costumes are normally made cheap), if I had bought this to feel pretty or for a formal wear piece it would have only gotten 3 stars because I'm a little uncomfortable in it. I'm normally a 3x in my trusted brands, but I sized up to a 4x and it fit but was still snug. If 5x was available at time of purchase it probably would have felt more comfortable. I didn't read the fabric type (I always forget to) so I was expecting like maxi dress soft not formal dress material lol that's my bad, but I'm letting everyone know in case you do the same. Also I am 5'9 and it hits right at the top of my ankles, I wish it was a little longer or had an option for us taller ladies, if it wasn't so snug (because it pulls more fabic) it may have been longer but idk. If you are self conscious about foopa and under boob area you'll need shape wear because it excentuates those areas. I wish the belt was a little longer. There are no belt loops for the belt either so it kind of just bunches up under the boobs and back fat lol. You need to wear white or skin color undies or a slip. I had my black and purple bra underneath, you can't tell in pictures, but you can definitely see in person.

The dress is okay. I personally don't like the fabric it's too thick. It's not a very high quality garment. The stitching is not good. It looks like it was made with tent stiches.

Overall I loved the dress, and our photos turned out amazing, but I cut the inside of the pocket out to flatten the look, the created bulk on my hips where I did not need it. Overall am very happy, but no bulky pockets would have been an even better look!

So I’m a 47yr old black woman. I’m also a fashion blogger, I said that to say this: It runs Very small and the material is barely stretchy. I didn’t like the fact that all of their garments are different. different in quality and material. They LOOK like they’re the same but they’re not! I bought 2 colors. I’m a size 28W and that usually equals to a 5x. Not in the polka dots. The water colored one fits good, has good stretch and the arms are a tad bit short. The polka dot one barely has stretch and I couldn’t even get it on however, it fits my cousin who is a 24W perfect.

Love this dress! Flattering & polka dots help distract the eye. Only cons: red is kinda a faded looking tone, dress is very long, came with tie on belt that didn't flatter my figure. Ended wearing as a head band.Happy with this purchase!

The dress fits well. Was very beautiful. I received many compliments. Was very affordable and looks very expensive. Was perfect for my back and white attire.
