Urban Oxide Women's Trek

I was looking for a cross-body bag for myself because it always seems like I don't have enough hands! I was a little unsure when I first received this bag. The material kind of had that new plastic smell for a day or two, and it seemed a lot bigger than what I imagined. (But I'm not exactly known for reading measurements closely.) But now I absolutely love it. I really like the fabric inside. It has a design, which I like, but it's not so busy that it makes it hard to find contents. I have a toddler at home, who already got yogurt on it and it wiped off with no problem. Definitely a great purchase for a mommy!

I used to own a black bag of similar design. Still love that bag, but after a few years (yes, years) and many miles of travel, and complements, I decided to try this one. Not sure I like the "silver" color - it's not as classic looking. But the real problem is the way it hangs. The extra pockets front and back cause the bag to "fold" if you put anything in them. The new strap is just wrong for any purse that costs more than $10, as it looks cheap. This bag is either going back, if I still can send it back, or to the back of my closet with the other "somewhat rejected, but occasionally useful" bags.

I've been a great fan of this line. The purses look great and were a wonderful, stylish value. However, they were once amazingly durable, and lasted for several years of heavy use. This bag has not been of that standard. The rubber is cracked in many places and threads have begun fraying from the edges. It's disappointing.

I've had Urban Oxide Bags in the past, and they held up great! Easy to care for, durable, dependable. NOT this one. Already has a tear in it and not wearing well at all. Usually, I just have to wipe off with water to clean these bags. This one doesn't come clean. Very sad about this. Wish it could be replaced........

This is a great stylish and durable bag. You will look fashionable but you don't have to care if it gets wet or tossed on the floor. I bought a version of this bag 8 years ago. It held up pretty well but some of the hardware detached from the fabric. This bag has been updated well with more attractive accents that are made of metal rather than the old plastic. It is also lighter and softer than the old one.

This is one of many Urban Oxide bags I've owned over the years. They're extremely sturdy, lots of storage and compartments. Great looking. Always have to answer "What kind of bag is that?" Very attractive and functional. Spill resistant. Only one weakness and that's the zipper to the main compartment. Each time I've purchased a new one its because of the zipper.

Love this bag! I saw it on someone else while walking around Manhattan and assumed it was a high-end, overpriced bag... nope! Bought it as soon as I found it on Amazon. Holds up well. Lots of compartments to keep me organized. And it's sleek, yet functional design works for professional and personal use! And as a girl who usually carries a high end brand name bag... I've never received so many compliments!!

This is my 4th Urban Oxide purse, but I like the older model better because of having more pockets inside. This new style with zip pockets on the outside is OK, but my favorite 3 before this one had more open pockets inside that were easy to reach.
