More techniques than K taping techniques book.
Really like it so far. Pages are glossy, still skippable, but good colors. The only thing I would want is larger ring binding. Pages get caught in the small ring binding, which annoys me.

Adequate text on Kinesiotaping but the "Pediatrics" aspect is mostly an application of adult taping on a child. Missing some critical pediatric usage such as club foot and cortical thumb. I have previously figured these tapings myself...as any decent clinician likely can using your knowledge of anatomy, but I purchased this text to make sure I was on the right track. No new information here, sorry to say. so I would not recommend this book if you already have the adult version. It's always a great disappointment when someone promotes something as specific to pediatrics, but doesn't address the special issues encountered in this population. Perhaps the next addition will be more inclusive. This particular book seems to simply be a gimmick to make additional $$. (sorry if that seems cynical)

Detailed instructions
This book is great to help with utilizing kinesiotape with children. The pictures are very detailed and instructions are easy to follow. I have enjoyed using this book!

Nice guide to placement of tape based on functional problems. Wish it had more firnthe lower leg and foot.

Great photos and the binding is perfect
I really like that it is in a spiral binding. That makes it easy to refer to the photos while working with a child. The instructions are very clear and it makes it easy to explain to the parents of the child and the child what you are going to do and why you're doing the tape. It had good handout information. I scanned one of them in and it came out at 6th grade reading level which is perfect!

I have used many taping techniques from this book with great success. I started referencing this book before I took the Kinesiotape courses, but I was much more proficient with using the techniques after taking KT 1-4.
