Shopping around for golf shorts can be frustrating, depending on your size. For me a 30 was tight and 32 was too big, and most were more than I wanted to spend anyway. Then I found IZOD's golf shorts, odd numbered sizes at an affordable price! I bought a couple to try out and the fit was perfect and they were very lightweight, comfortable and breathable. I liked them so much I now have a pair in all five colors. The tacky strip on the inside of the waste band is nice for keeping your shirt in place too. I don't know why the back pockets are sewn shut but it is no big deal to rip the stitch out. Sure you can go with the big guys like Adidas, Nike, UA, or Puma, but when IZOD shorts are just as good and only $21.99, you're just paying for the name. Use the money you save buying these shorts to play a round. :D

These shorts are comfortable and lightweight. They are excellent summer shorts. These are the rare golf shorts that come in a size 35, and for me, the fit is perfect. They are not narrow and tight through the hips.The front pockets are mesh, which I like. The pockets are also shallow, which for a golf short is good because you don't have to reach in all the way up to your elbow to get something out, and then turn your pocket inside out trying to pull your sweaty hand out.There is no 'tech' pocket for your iPhone or whatever yardage gadget you like to use. That's a disappointment.In my opinion, these shorts are a little over priced as the quality of workmanship is marginal at best. Stitching is not that good and looks kind of ragged. If you play a lot of golf like I do, I would not expect these to last more than one year. I also noticed, and this is a little weird, that the fly seems a little small. Oh yeah, the back pockets are sewn shut so you have to break the threads to open them up. Not a big deal.The best golf shorts, IMO, are the Greg Norman shorts with the tech pocket. Unfortunately for me, the size 36 is too big and the size 34 is too small. These IZOD shorts at size 35 fit perfectly. I give them a recommendation rating of four stars.

These are the perfect golf shorts. These are my fourth pair. Great price for quality golf shorts. Waist band has a tacky strip tonkeep your shirt tucked in. Very breathable. The inside of the front pockets have mesh to help keep cool. The pockets are not too deep, which I find more comfortable when storing tees, pitch mark too, etc. They don’t wrinkle like lesser quality shorts made of lesser quality material. These are top notch shorts. As good or better than FJ, Under Armor, Adidas, Puma shorts I’ve worn but half the price. They fit true to size. All four pairs that I have for the exact same. Not too long, not too short. Sharp, clean look.

I bought these shorts to use in the hot summer months. I am very pleased with their quality and the overall fit and comfort. Keep in mind that Izod can run a little on the smaller size so if you like loose-fitting shorts then I would recommend ordering a size up.

These golf shorts fit my husband perfectly. True to size (in our opinion). The fabric is wrinkle free which is great and light weight. Would highly recommend.

Good fit, light fabric, they seem well made and are likely to be cool. About what I expected.Two reservations: The front pockets could be deeper. Nowadays when we're all carrying cell phones everywhere, it is nice to have deep enough pockets that the phones fit quite securely inside. These are not terrible, but could have been a bit deeper. The bigger complaint is with the rear pockets. The fact that they come sewn completely shut was a tip off. The entire pocket was stitched shut, you had to cut the threads and remove them all the way across to get them to open. The reason for this I suppose was to make them look nicer and to keep them from flopping open when you first get them. Only after that did I realize that there is no way of closing the pockets securely now - no button, zipper, velcro, nothing. I guess if you literally just wear them on a golf course, you are unlikely to have anything fall out or to get pickpocketed; I'd like be able to wear them anywhere though, so not being able to close the rear pockets securely is a drawback for me. Otherwise nice shorts.
