I had some DVD players in the car for big journeys for the kids which were big and bulky and required a lot of space for the accompanying DVDs, the cabling was annoying also having to link two screens together. This holder has allowed me to ditch a screen and replace with a tablet that contains lots of films on Netflix, now TV, Amazon prime etc.It's a simple yet effective device, spring loaded arms allow you to attach it between the headrest pillars and then further spring loaded clamp things hold the tablet. It took 2 mins to setup and the only thing you need to get right is the tension on the ball joint so that it holds it without drooping.It only holds smaller tablets but for me they are perfect.

Really useful, but I found the headrests in my car (Honda Jazz 2004) were slightly larger than the maximum width of the clamps on this holder - meaning that it rattled a bit. It wasn't so wide that it would fall out, rather that there was no spring action against the headrest bars - but only by about 3mm.When I put a phone in though, the weight of that helped it from rattling too much.The solution was a bit of Blu-tac, or similar, to pad out the width of the holder between the headrest bars. About 4mm in both ends was best, as it brought the spring-action tension back.Had no problem adding the smartphone and it felt really secure. Ideal for backseat passengers to watch a video or be backseat navigators. It's for horizontal (landscape) use only. If playing games, there should be separate handsets otherwise the front seat passengers are going to be feel every touch of the phone.

When this came up for review i was edging my bets for this being able to fit an ipad pro 12.9''. being a 360 degree holder it did not matter as long is it fitted in either landscape or portrait as you could then swivel it around once in place. To my surprise with a little bit of pushing it actually did fit. I'm going camping soon and have a mattress for the back seat of my car for just one night before i get to my destination where ill put up the tent. This meaning ill now be able to add my ipad to the back seat and watch my ipad at night. As well as this it will be great for my niece and nephew on small car rides too ! If it fits the 12.9 inch pad it will fit just about anything !
