He upturns the farmer's barn, fills it with water and puts out the fire.A kind of nonsensical book but an amusing one showing children that their strength can be used in two ways and illustrating clearly which way is best. FUN! FUN!

I grew up with these books and now my little girl loves them too. We are slowly adding them to our library. We love them all. Every. Single. One.

Fabulous! Love them! My three daughters loved them 30 years ago. My granddaughters love them now.I've seen a bunch of intellectual reviews decrying this product. They are totally missing the point.My take is simple: The book is just a tool and it's up to you how you use it. Sit with your child, read from the story page making up your own words, appropriate for your particular child, while you show them the lovely friendly pictures. The kids just l-o-v-e to look and listen. When my (32 yrs) daughter opened Mr. Tickle last week she immediately recalled the page with the choc chip cookie and the page with a tickling arm coming around the corner.I just sat reading to my 11-week granddaughter and she just so much loved the pictures, never taking her eyes from them while I blathered my own fun stories to her.These books give delight, little children love them. Give them for fun.

I loved these books as a child and I hope mine will too

This is the story of Mr. Strong.Mr. Strong is the strongestperson in the whole wide world. Mr. Strong gets his power from eating eggs and more eggs.This is part of the Mr. Men series. There are many other Mr. Men books available. These are great books for kids. The Mr. books are just the right length to read two of them to kids at bedtime, and they all teach some important lesson.Most of the Mr. Men books have other Mr. Men in them, but this book only has Mr. Strong, a farmer, and a couple people that he meets in the town.Of the Mr. Men books that I have read, I would not recommend this one, it it not the best work by Roger Hargreaves. I would recommend Mr. Tall before buying this one. If you do buy a Mr. Men book, then you should get a couple because they are very small.

Finally now in my mid-thirties I get to read Mr. Strong for the first time. What a beautiful little tale. If you're a Roger Hargreaves fan, you've read other Mr. Men titles and you're familiar with his writing style, I'm pretty sure you'll guess - just like I did - what kind of adversities Mr. Strong will face in his everyday life, given his extraordinary strength.

I simply loved this book. As a competitive strongman it can be tough to find motivation to push through sometimes. But since reading this I was reminded why I got into this sport in the first place... TO DOMINATE. I’m gonna make Eddie ‘The Beast’ Hall my BITCH
