The wireless range of this model is ~ 1.5-2 times of most other models) Installation Guide: The package you have now should have two adapters: 8 to 30 pin converter + 2in1 Bluetooth (BT) adapter. Setup Instruction: 1. Plug the 2in1 BT adapter onto the 8 to 30 pin converter. 2. Plug the 8 to 30 pin converter on the 8 pin lightning dock of the Bose digital III speaker.3. Use the attached 3.5 mm aux calbe to connect from the bluetooth adapter to the bose speaker AUX input at the back of speaker 4. Press the on/off switch of the BT adapter for ~10 sec until it flash red and blue. The bluetooth adapter is in pairing mode now. 5. Turn on the BT function on the cellphone or tablets. 6. Search for this Bluetooth adapter "BMR'. 7. If passcode is asked, please type 0000 as passcode. 8. Click the "BMR' device to pair this bluetooth adapter with your cellphone or tablets. After success pairing, LED will change to slow blue flash. 9. Use the bose remote control to choose the music source to AUX. 10. Play music from the cellphone or tablets.

Simple and functional
I recently received a Soundock III and I have an Ipod Classic that I wanted to use it worth so I was searching Amazon for an 8 pin to 30 pin adapter when I stumbled on this little gem. I get the adapter I wanted for the Ipod plus a blue tooth receiver in one shot. Setup was simple, my computer had no problem finding the blue tooth receiver and I was playing music via blue tooth in about 5 minutes after opening the box. I'm very satisfied now and I hope the device will keep operating smoothly in the months to come. I will post an update one way or the other.

Cheap plastic breaks easy.
I bought these about 3 weeks ago and I initially loved them. The sound quality was great and the earbuds fit perfectly. It also connected to my phone easily and never got in the way while working out. However, after 3 weeks of use, the plastic casing cracked and the thing split in half near the back. I should have known this as whenever I put it on, I could feel it strain plus it was made with cheap inflexible plastic. I don't have a thick neck being 5'7 and 165 lbs, but it made me cringe slightly every time I slip it on around my neck. I do not abuse it, just mostly for use during work or walking around the house, also for the gym. It would have been great otherwise.
