No more tears for my child
Just returned from an overseas trip which required 5 different flights -used Flents Flite Mate Kids for my 7 year old and the only time she had a tear from the ear pressure pain was when one of the ear plugs popped out of her ear during landing on one of the five flights ( I wasn't sitting next to her to pop it back in properly). My daughter always had really bad ear pressure pain during take-offs and landings so after reading other reviews, I decided to try it for this big trip and I am so glad I did - it really worked. It does seem a little big for her ears (she's about 4ft tall 50 lbs. in wt.) but it's soft and I twisted and pushed it in as far as I could. She was comfortable with it and even at times wore it with her headphones while watching videos on our tablet. It's not a perfectly tight fit as she and I have knocked if off when removing her headphones but if you don't touch it once it's in, it will stay in place and do it's job. It seems good enough to be reusable several times, so we will be using it again for our next flight(s).

Kids didn't like having them in their ears, seem well made though
Bought these for my 2, 4, and 11 year old daughters for our trip to Disney World but only the 11 year old would wear them. I think if the younger kids had been bothered by the ear popping they might have worn these but they were fine and didn't complain at all. They just didn't like having these in their ears. I don't know if they work well since we didn't use them so I can't give 5 stars but I don't know that they aren't awesome either so I settled on a 3. Would definitely purchase them again if I had a child who complained about their ears on a flight.

DO NOT BUY FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3
The picture and description leave out that these are made for children 3+ years in age. If you look at the picture, the blue area next to the writing underneath the word, "ear plugs" is blank. When you receive the item, it clearly says "3+".

Not for small babies
There is no way you will get these earplugs in a baby's ears without hurting your child. I tried them in my ears and my ears hurt afterwards. Then my 10 year old tried them and she agreed they cause ear pain. I gently tried to put them in my 10 month old and he did not like them. You are much better off just getting your little ones to drink or chew gum during the plane's ascent and descent.

Great for Small Adult Ears!
I've been using Earplanes for years, but the the adult size always felt too big, and the child size is nearly impossible to find; so I decided to try the Flents. Instructions are easy enough, simply pull top of the ear upward and outward and twist these into the ear. The plastic "pronged" ends made it easy to remove - I imagine this would be especially handy for using on small children.I used them on a four+ hour flight and they were comfortable enough - definitely more so than the adult Earplanes and slightly more than the child Earplanes. I left them in the entire time. My ears were painfree on takeoff, and the pain from descending (usually the worst for me) was minimized. I could even hear pretty well with these as well when the flight attendant came through.Overall, I would consider these as effective as Earplanes and more comfortable and I will use them again!

These work for me.
I have small ears and the adult size plugs simply do not work for me. I have tried the other major brand on previous flights and found them to be ill-fitting, uncomfortable, and irritating. My skin is extremely sensitive and I am always on the look out for products that are comfortable for me. I ordered the Flents plugs last year for our annual vacation and found them to be well-fitted and comfortable. I was able to keep them in the entire flight (impossible with the other brand) and they definitely helped with take-off and landing. For children and adults with small ears, I would absolutely recommend these. One pair can last up to five flights, so a three-pack will last me a couple of years. Good value and great product.

Can't really say...
Neither of my kids would keep these in their ears because they said they hurt. But they had no problem with the EarPlanes product (which worked perfectly).I gave a neutral rating because I cannot say that the issue is the product or just my picky 4 year olds.....

Disappointed...
These worked ok for the beginning of the flight (take-off) for both me & my kids, however, they did not work hardly at all for my kids on the descent and not at all for myself. My ears hurt on the descent and my kids had "clogged ears" for a few hours after, but their ears didn't hurt after the first flight. On the 2nd flight, however, my kids had ear pain. So we all switched to EarPlanes for the last 2 flights and they worked great! I would not bother with these and I would recommend EarPlanes brand instead. Also, it was hard to tell if I had them in correctly because they didn't "screw in" like the EarPlanes do, so I don't know if that was a factor in how well they worked or not. I also had to use the children's size because the adult size were a little too big (kept falling out) and I'm an average size person with average size ears.In case anyone wants or needs to know for allergies, I contacted the manufacturer for what they are made of and it is a foam-plastic...so no latex (it does not say this anywhere on the packaging). The EarPlanes are also non-latex (at least the ones I bought-says on the package) and they did not hurt my ears after wearing them on the entire 7+ hour flight. We took 4 flights in 2 weeks and the EarPlanes worked great once we switched to them. So do not buy the Flents especially if you have ever had ear pain on a flight because the pain can be accumulative if you take a lot of flights at once without giving your ears a chance to "heal". I never had ear pain on planes as a kid, so this was a fairly new experience for me in the past couple of years and was surprised when my kids experienced it right away. I took 6 flights in 1 week and blew out both my eardrums a couple years ago, so I'm just glad there is another product to choose that actually does work now instead of these!
