I washed the robe before putting it in a gift box and strings started coming apart from the material. It is poorly made and is in partical ruins. I will Not recommend this item to no one.

This robe is garbage. I was surprised in reading the reviews because they were either overwhelmingly positive, or very negative (citing poor quality). Since more reviews were positive, I opted for "Buy". Big mistake. Not sure if the positive reviewers are shills or the seller posing as a customer, but I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the quality, both in absolute terms, and for the price I paid (which was over $70 including basic shipping). I can't understand how anyone would be 100% satisfied with this product. Maybe if they gave it as a gift and the recipient did a really good job of pretending to like it...What's good: The embroidering looks nice, the color of the embroidering is true-to-description, the fit was 'as expected', and shipping was surprisingly fast given that this is a semi-custom product.What's bad: everything else. Some reviews describe this as being "soft", "fuzzy", and/or "absorbent". It is none of those things. Did I somehow wind up with a factory reject??? The material is thin and hard, more akin to a cheap souvenir beach towel (e.g. the ones I use to dry the floor after my dog comes in from the rain) than a luxurious Turkish bath towel. The robe itself is NOT absorbent--which makes sense, given how thin it is--and there is an artificial, waxy feel to the material that makes me doubt the seller's claim that this is 100% cotton. It feels like some sort of cotton/rayon or cotton/polyester blend. I had hoped the problem would get better if I washed it (perhaps some sort of coating that was applied new from the factory?), but it actually got worse! As another reviewer stated, threads started to unravel from some of the seams, making the robe look ratty.Overall, I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this robe. Especially for $70+ with shipping. I would be disappointed if I paid $30 total. I had ordered a different embroidered robe of Etsy and was so pleased with its thickness and quality, but didn't order it again due to the fact that it took over 2 weeks. I should have waited. This robe is embroidered and delivered quickly, but sometimes, good things are worth the wait. It was intended as a primary gift, but I was so embarrassed about the quality that it wound up being a (very expensive) secondary gift.

Item is not as described. Mine was too short and too small, and thanks to embroidery, non returnable. So now I have an expensive towel I guess. I would not recommend this product or company.

Really nice quality fit as expected but the letters were a little bigger than we expected on the name. No biggie though:)

My Daughter loved it!

My husband loved it for an anniversary gift. He loves wearing it around the house, nice, soft and fuzzy.

Nice timing on delivery; personalization was nice; quality of robe could be better.

Got it for gift for my wife for christmas and she loves it.
