Pan was not very deep

Works great, I use it daily for panini/ flatbread sandwiches. The cast iron “press” doesn’t really heat up. Unless you were to put it on another burner. But it works more for weight pushing the sandwich down into the heat of the pan. Flip the sandwich for another minute or so and it comes out cooked all the way through with great grill marks. Works just as good as a panini press without taking up counter/ cabinet space with the bulk of another appliance that may not work in a year or two. This pan and its cast iron counterpart will work as long as you have a stove top that does!

Great addition to our Lagostino pots. Works wonderfully when we don’t want to grill outside, and makes delicious panini’s. I wish the grooves were a bit deeper, but it still works great.

Works as expected.

Not as attractive as the Le Creuset version that we too gave to our daughter, but easier to handle.
