I had to move my phone block and one of the phone lines was too short to move to it's new location. It's not really a phone line I could rerun, so I spliced it. My phone lines are Cat 5e, so these splices came in super handy. In reality, I didn't lose any bandwidth, I even tested through put and have the over gigabit bandwidth on the run. I used some electrical fitting pliers to squeeze the orange button in to the housing, and it worked like a charm instead of having to buy splice fitting pliers. These things worked great, and for the price I couldn't beat it.

It was exactly what I needed to install an item on my garage door. It is designed for any small gauge wire like a thermostat or garage door wiring.

I bought these to install a new radio in my truck and in the batwing fairing of my motorcycle. They are too small to get the wires into. Might be ok for L.E.D.s because of the thinner wires.
