u get what u pay for.
While I had no issues binding to my spectrum DX3E the range on this was horrible. Spectrum surface rx don't have an especially long range anyway but I've always been able to remedy this by soldering on a longer antenna wire. This however did not fix the range issues on this Rx. Unless u don't plan on being more than 40ft from ur vehicle, I wouldn't recommend.

The price is awesome and if your wondering if it works with your spectrum transmitter it does and very well I race b4.2 and mini late modle dirt oval and use these with no problem there's no reason to pay 3 times as much for spectrum
