BMR 30 Pin Power Adapter for Bose Sounddock Original

Was exactly what I needed to use my Bluetooth adapter on my old Bose speaker. It saved the old Bose! Works great!

Purchased the BMR A2DP and then needed the BMP 30 Pin power adapter - the A2DP will not work without the power adapter - save yourself the trouble and buy them both! These items worked perfectly and I was glad to have my Bose back on the scene. However, my love of this product is short-lived. It is no longer working, neither piece, at all. Just quit. After five weeks. :/

Works good, but in order to reconnect when you lose the signal, you must remove the unit, reinstall and then try to reconnect. Kind of a pain, but it works pretty good. Sometimes I have buzzing noise, but goes away. Could be better, but it works.

power adapter did not work on 2 bose speakers i own.so next step is to buy the blue tooth adapter from the same brand,my blue tooth did not make it.

Worked as described after I bought this adapter for the Bluetooth device. Initially I couldn’t get the Bluetooth to work, so I was planning to send it back. The seller contacted me via email and informed me that I possibly need the adapter. Wow, finally something that works on the original Bose Sounddock.Oh, there are lots of mods and a company that sells replacement docking boards with AUX in with built-in Bluetooth, but I already had a nice BT4.0 30 pin receiver which sounds great and didn't want a line-in solution. Also the $70 replacement boards have an older version of BT.So here it is.These type of adapters add a lot of height to an already ridiculously flimsy connector so I had no plans to use it to charge my old iPod. Good thing, because when I plugged my old iPod Touch into it didn't charge. Audio plays though, but it does that without the adapter. I'm not going to take anything off for that because that's not what I bought it for. If that's what YOU want it for, be aware that it may not charge your device.It DOES power and operate my Zio BT adapter:  Zio CSR Bluetooth4.0 APTX Music Audio Receiver Adapter for Bose Sounddock and 30Pin iPod iPhone Dock Speaker (Black) That's all I needed it to do. So happy.

This equipped with the BT adapter have rejuvenated my old and trusty bose speaker. I've had that speaker on the shelf collecting dust for some time but now these devices have saved me more than $300 in replacing my Bose with a newer model and I can dig that. Although I have had some troubles pairing certain devices like my kindle, my android pairs up quick and I have quality sound that fills the house or yard depending on my activity. I appreciate you guys bringing back tech that still works and has many years of use left in them.

I have a first generation Bose sound dock. When I first got the 30 pin bluetooth adaptor, i was quite disappointed that it did not power up like it should. After getting the power adaptor the problem was solved. Now I can enjoy my Bose system.

we were at a point of throwing out our Bose sound dock, but now it has a new lease on life thanks to the BMR bluetooth adapter. it works perfect

I bought this after I had bought an I-wave bluetooth music receiver that wouldn't work on my first generation bose sound dock. Now I can get the i-wave to pair up with my iphone 6 but no music comes out of my speaker. Anyone else try to use this with a different Bluetooth receiver other than the BMR one ?
