Works like a charm
The Bose Mini SoundLink Model I is a great little speaker and, unlike the bogus Model II where battery replacement is not an option, replacing the battery on this unit is a breeze. It just takes a T9 Torx driver to pop four tiny star-head screws — and of course the right battery. A quick on-line search found several that fit, but only a few with the exact current specs as the OEM battery. This one fit the bill, and the price was reasonable.

Fits and works but just a tad too thick
Battery seams a bit thicker so the rubber seal no longer fits correctly. It works still and for the money vs a name brand it was worth it. I play the speaker for 8 hours a day at work on low and it last all day. It was easy to change out with the right tool. ( Pay attention to the type of screws because it’s not your standard.)

Worked for one charge only.
Bought this to revive my Soundlink Mini. Install was easy and worked the first week, giving me a battery life of 6+ hours at mid volume. I was very excited. A few weeks later I tried using the speaker again and it was completely lifeless despite having been plugged in and charging. Tried both the dock and plugging in the speaker direct and the green light comes on for a moment.... and nothing. Big waste of $40. Wish I had put the money towards a new speaker instead of throwing money at the old Bose.

Battery works great
Great priced battery for the sountlink mini 2, slight difference on the lip that attaches rubber bottom but rubber still goes in place like it should and stays perfectly and 1 month in use and battery is working great

2 Minute Update for the Bose SoundLink
Perfect swap-in replacement for the Bose Mini-SoundLink battery. Appears to be physically and electrically identical. Clearly, this company supplied the OEM batteries to Bose when the unit was manufactured.

Easy to Install
Works great. You may want to consider buying the special screw driver it requires to remove the 4 screws. Otherwise, it was very easy to install .
