20 gal. gas tank sending unit w/pump 1991-1995 Compatible with YJ Wrangler

Works perfectly. A well made product in every respect. Well worth it if your Jeep's fuel pump craps out on you like mine did.It took a while to install only because Jeep, for whatever reason, failed to provide a factory access panel through the rear deck of the vehicle to the top of the gas tank. But cutting a DIY access port through the rear deck over the faulty pump was not difficult, and once the new fuel pump was installed an aluminum plate screwed in place sealed everything up good as new.

Fit like Factory

I bought a fuel pump or sending unit in 2022. Installed it and it died within the warranty period. The seller was very gracious with accepting the return under warranty. Even when my mechanic trashed the old one. My mechanic installed the new one and about 2 years later it has also failed.I don't drive the jeep a lot its a fun car, weekend warrior. I also have always had old cars and know the fuel in the tank is what acts as a cooling unit for these vehicles so I don't run the tank dry. I think 2 years is too short of a life span for a part that lives inside the fuel tank and is a pain to replace. But the customer service was again, spectacular so theyget some stars.

Fairly install, it goes in tight length wise, found it easier if the tank was off the ground, wiring was good, works well

After spending way too much to have a local shop "fix" my fuel pump, finding out they poorly attached a critical ground wire correctly, leaving me completely stranded 6 miles from cell coverage and 24 miles from pavement in the Sonoran Desert. (Did I mention the FURIOUS girl with me?) I purchased this little gem and two hours later she *the jeep, was purring again. I have used Amazon to basically rebuild my entire YJ and I'm pleased with the service.

Seller states 1 year warranty but what they are not disclosing is that they do not back this product but leave it up to the purchaser to contact the manufacture for warranty claims. BTW, pump lasted less than a month before it lost pressure. "Hello, I am sorry to hear that. We would suggest reaching out to the manufacturer for the warranty. Respectfully, TACTIK 4x4 "

So far so good! Does what it needs to do. The sending unit failed on my last fuel pump. The pump was still working but wanted my fuel gauge to work again. Another jeeper on the forum is still going strong after 5 years with the same brand so I went with it. The harness is a couple inches shorter, maybe an inch, so keep that in mind when lifting your tank into place. I have no body lift so it was a little tight in there but really not an issue.

pump works great easy to install but the sender does not work with my gauge if I knew that I would of just replaced the pump instead of the whole sending unit
