Elm327 WiFi OBDii Interface OBD2 Can Bus Scanner Diagnostic Tool with Original 25k80 Chip Support iOS / Android (V2.1)

Works great on my second car but the car with the “check engine light” warning refuses to participate in the game. Even the app the manufacturer lists to use with this device, even that app identifies this as a less than stellar clone. After literally a month of trying to make this work using iPads, iPods, laptops and any device I had access to as well as downloading 6 different free apps... no luck. One app developer noted that many cheaper clones seem to have issues working with iOS 11 or later. That may be the problem. I tried an older apple device I have, but alas the app won’t work with my iOS 6 iPod and the device won’t work with my iOS 12 iPad. CATCH 22... I gave it 1 Star because of the endless frustration this has caused, but honestly it works fine on my other (older) vehicle. So, it is NOT a bonafide ripoff.

No mention in ad for product, that to use it. You HAVE TO PURCHASE @$5.99 a mobile phone app. So the price is misleading. Plus It didn't work on my 2014 Jeep Overland Desiel. Would not Blu-tooth

I was looking for something between the super expensive and super cheap OBD2 readers which would support WiFi at both Android and iOS. The cheapest ones don't work always well and the super expensive ones are just overpriced. This OBD2 reader is exactly what I was looking for.In combination with, for example, Car Scanner ELM OBD2 it works perfectly. It easily scans all of the codes and the WiFi connection is much more stable than Bluetooth. I have tested other apps and it worked as well.I have already saved a lot of money by scanning my car before driving if to the mechanic and fixing the small issues by my own.The only drawback is the manual. It is not very well written and for people who love following manual step-by-step it might be annoying. But for 99% it won't be a problem at all.

exactly what you expect, just know its a bit slow - assuming a clone chipset. That being said it works absolutely perfectly. Any random OBD2 app that supports it over Wifi has worked for me so far. I use Torque Pro but there are plenty of free ones. This just works, no issues.

The unit connects quickly and easily through you choice of apps. I use it mainly to read and clear my codes but depending on the app it provides a lot more.

It’s not working only two red lights are on and it’s not linking up to my phone, device not showing it’s available to connect via Bluetooth. Price of junk.. I guess you get what pay for..

First of all the instructions are really small,so you download the app and then you try connecting and noting such waste of my time

Great price and I can’t get it to install on my iPhone so far I can find the right app for this OBD II
