PH Meter, TDS Meter Digital EC&Temperature Test Meter 4 in 1 Set for Indoor, Pool and Aquarium Swimming

Professional style pH, TDS & EC Meters. Display is good and easy to read. Instructions are straight forward. Chart on box is very helpful. I purchased to test my well as cistern water quality. Wasn't surprised with the results but did confirm what I was suspecting very hard water, so a water softener system and water heater clean out are in the future. I also use this set for my plant water, pool, daughters aquarium ph, TDS and EC. I like the size, fits in your hand secure. Quick and easy readings, test multiple solutions quickly without strips and kits.

The TDS meter works perfectly, although be careful about shaking it off after measuring since sometimes water can splash into the screen if you aren’t careful. Otherwise it comes back with fast and accurate readings.The PH meter is great and doesn’t have that issue, but it takes much longer to come to a reading even after calibration. Directly after I calibrated it, readings came up quickly, but after a day or two readings began to take long again. I imagine this might be caused by me not washing it in distilled water every time but I’m using this for an aquarium so that isn’t practical for me. This is still much more accurate than test kits if you’re patient enough. I found dipping the meter in, moving it around, and taking it out multiple times speeds up the process.

TDS meter measures TDS, temperature and conductivity. Temperature unit ( Fahrenheit or Celsius) or ppm/EC can be toggled using the shift button. Calibration is easy and fast. Given Calibration chart is helpful. pH standard buffer has to be dissolved in distilled water. pH standard of 9.18 takes a while to dissolve. Ensure to have all the crystal dissolved before using it to calibrate for accuracy.

After having to Monkey around setting this worthless tool up it still doesn't read correctly, not even close! After using my test kit and my test strips which were both very accurate with each other this electronic device was not even close on several of the readings! I will never buy this item again and would not recommend it to my worst enemy! Oh yes one more thing, after getting it all programmed or tuned I was able to get about 5 inaccurate readings before the battery died on the pH meter! Absolutely worthless!

Easy to use. However, I have no idea if they are accurate or not.

I have not used the pH tester yet, so this review is only for the TDS tester. I have used this to test my tap water straight out of the tap, after it has gone through my under-sink filter, refrigerator water, and distilled water. The tester is easy to use and gave consistent readings from multiple samples of water from the same source. However, it was not able to correct for temperature because there was nearly a100 ppm difference for the refrigerator water cold as opposed to letting it come to room temperature. Waiting a similar period for the other samples made no difference, so the problem was poor temperature correction when water is that cold (about 37 degrees F).
