6 Pairs Mens Extra Long 100% Cotton Socks - Mens Long Hose Socks

I foolishly allowed a combination of the low price and some of the higher rated reviews to sway my judgement and purchased one pack to try them. I should not have bothered. I can only surmise that either the quality of the socks has changed since those high ratings and comments were given or the purchasers had very differing expectations and requirements, and very lean legs. Yes they are a bit longer than normal but not extra long by any stretch of the imagination, they only just came over my calf. As to stretch yes the socks expand easily but its one way, outward, they have little or no shape retention or hold up capability and continuously fell down within half an hour of putting them on. The socks were warm enough even if a little thin, but I would doubt very much that they will be hard wearing. I will never know as after using once followed by a gentle wash they resemble the shape of my leg and would not stay up, and I cannot even pull them up high enough to use a garter were I so inclined, so I will not be using them again except perhaps as bed socks rolled round my ankles. One star reflects a good price but they are by no means a bargain!

After washing once, 30°C on easycare, these socks reach (from the sole of my foot) only 14 inches up my leg, 5 inches short of the bottom of my knees. These are thin material socks and I don't expect them to last long.Update Nov 2016: Holes have already started appearing. I couldn't have worn any pair more than four times yet.

what utter garbage wore for half hour then they slipped down my leg from well under the knee so theyre nothing near long socks now the shape is gone and finally they slipped off my foot when I took off my boots so my advice is don't buy these or just burn your hard earned cash so these people cant have the life of riley while you walk round barefoot

The socks did fit but in no way were they 'Extra Long', the reason I bought them was because they were supposed to be Extra-Long and they came up to half-way up my calves. I actually have normal ankle socks that are longer!I haven't returned them as I do need more sock but wont be buying from this company again.

I am size 8 and these socks are way too big in the foot. How can one size fit all in socks, size 6 to 11?Leg length is OK but could be a little longer. Fabric is thin. I suppose you get what you pay for.After wearing and washing I feel I should update my review. These socks are no longer knee length, no longer very elastic around the top and soon fall down and gather under the foot. I wouldn't recommend them.

The socks are as advertised. though the quality control could be better. Off the tree pairs I have used so far in one the toe seems were rough In another where the turn heel attaching to the body there was a hole not large but from past experience is likely to get larger. SO reasonable value for money but not quite good enough for a score of five.

These appear to be well made from good quality materials. They fit well and the top is not too elasticated and therefore doesn't leave those horrible marks on your legs.To be horribly picky, and I am, they could do with being a teensy weensy bit more elasticated. As they are, if you use them with shorts (and damned sexy I look in them too) and your legs brush together whilst moving one of them will occasionally fall down. If it wasn't for this I would give 5 stars.

Nice socks. However, the description of 'long' is stretching things. They come up to well below my knee and do not cover the calf muscle; they may well do for someone who is a few inches shorter than 6 feet tall though. Only the description is off. Apart from that, they are good socks. And, for the price, excellent value and quality.
