Kesper HACCP 30154 Chopping Board 53 x 32,5 x 1,5 cm Green Plastic

My old board I had been using for years needed replacing by they type was no longer available. I did not need colour coding etc and most of the boards on offer had grip holes or bumper corners which would just be a nuisance. Wooden boards have never been resilient enough. All I wanted was good sized, solid plastic, mark and stain resistant, easily cleaned, plain board ..... and I found it! Although pretty damn expensive, this board is everything I wanted and I love it!

Very pleased with chopping board, looks nice on my corian worktop.

I almost bought 4 of these as we wanted a good set of boards and the reviews were encouraging, but thankfully but I bought just one to try. The board does look great; it’s substantial and fairly heavy with decent feet so it doesn’t move about. However it marks really easily, by just running a knife across it with no pressure on the blade. The material is quite soft. Whilst I accept the dimensions were given in the advert, I stupidly didn’t check to see if it fits in the dishwasher it doesn’t. Surely someone can make a tough chopping board which can be put in the dishwasher for a thoroughly good clean? So, back to looking......
