An excellent piece of equipment
I think it's almost impossible to teach children the proper hitting mechanics of hitting "inside the ball" without aids like the Insider Bat. It's a fantastic tool that allows a young player to feel proper swing path. Based on personal experience, I am doubtful that this can be done successfully by only verbally instructing a child. The Insider Bat is an excellent starting point for teaching young hitters the proper mechanics that they will ultimately need if they wish to play competitive baseball.

It Actually Works!
My son plays Travel 9U (he's just turn 9 years old). My son has always been a decent hitter but he tends to cast his bat & was late on his swings, hitting the ball to right field quite often (he a right hand batter). Since using the "Inside Bat" his swing is on time & is very nice, driving the ball! Most of his hits now either straight up the middle towards center or left field!! His hands is ALWAYS out front now, muscle memory. It seems like work instantly with my son but remember everyone is different.It's good because my son can physically hit the ball off a tee, unlike the "Speed Stick"!

If you are a pull hitter and can figure out how to get good push on the ball break out the credit card and buy this. I’m not a huge fan of a lot of training aids but my daughters coach(played D1 and knows her s@*# ) uses this tool a lot. Improved my son and daughters hitting.

Great training aid!
This tool really teaches kids to put their hands in the correct position through impact. We tried multiple training aids and none seemed to set in with my daughter, but after 2 sessions with the insider bat, her swing path was 50% better and made a huge impact. She has been playing competitive fastpitch softball for over 6 years and is experienced and this helped dramatically. I can see where this product would be highly beneficial to a beginner as well and would teach the proper mechanics of staying inside and hands through the ball. Bat is well made and very durable.

Works like a champ
Helps break my son from bad swing habits. I use it before we hit real balls. Let him warm up then hes good to go.

This works great if you have your players setup on the tee correctly. You/they will know what they are doing wrong if the ball is not hit into center field/net/etc. That's where they make adjustments with their hands and where there arms at positioned.

My son's team has been using this for their practices ...
My son's team has been using this for their practices. He had a hard time hitting the ball with the insider bat out of the tee although he is a contact and power hitter using his "real" bat. Nonetheless, we bought him this one so he can practice on his own. We just got it yesterday and he has been non-stop hitting with it. Hoping that this will further improve his batting skills.

The insider bat was just what I was looking for. I have been coach for about 10 years and this works great. It simple enough that anyone can pick up and start using it but it teaches hitters how and why keeping your hands inside is good. Also you get instant feed back. Perfect tool for a team or just for parents looking to help a young player get better.
