I've installed 3 of these on 3 of our trailers. The tarp is pretty tough, holds up well. If you want a bar at the end of the tarp you'll have to make your own. I use 3/4 conduit and cut out a couple of circles out of 1/8 or thicker steel sheet. The only thing I don't like is when you install the crank handle on the left side of the trailer, you're cranking counter-clockwise to roll up the tarp. I like everything to be on the left side.

I just bought a 2024 7x14 Kauffman dump trailer. My last one was a 2021. It is over 150.00 cheaper to buy the tarp kit and install it yourself. My last trailer I bought the 7x16. It did not make it to the gate on a 14 foot trailer. This time I bought the 18 foot. It makes to the gate with a little over hang. This is perfect when the trailer is full.

After reading some of the reviews and watching a video on how to install this, I decided to purchase it. Most of the complaints that I read about this product seemed to be fixed. The handle is now attached with a bolt instead of set screws and the nut is a locking style. I did notice the bearing assembly was not installed flush and needed some adjustment to square it up to the mounting bracket. A hammer and punch fixed that problem. I had some reservations about the actual tarp before seeing it in person. It seems to be sturdy and well built. Time will tell to see how long it lasts. I would recommend it to my friends.

Very easy to install on my 7x12 dump trailer.

Bought this for a Load Runner 7x14 dump trailer, brackets don't match at all, install was complicated, handle assembly is terrible and should be much simpler or already assembled. Instructions are useless and the YouTube video from the manufacturer not overly helpful, fortunately as with most things now aways, there were plenty of other videos on how to install. Got it done, tarps the load like it should. Get an 18ft tarp for your trailer, 14ft or 16ft not enough if you have a load that sits a couple inches above the side.

I purchased the 7x18’ kit for my 7x14’ SureTrac trailer. Everything was a direct fit for the factory cutouts on my trailer once I unbolted it from the brackets the kit comes with, very pleased with this purchase

Works great. I installed it on a pull behind trailer and had to modify the mounts a bit but once installed makes covering up load very easy.
