Very happy - fantastic value compared with other solutions
Super easy to use. Works as advertised and shown on the demo videos. Camera quality seems surprisingly good given the small form factor - the camera pan/ zooming works quite well.I recently purchased a Logitech Meetup - comparing the performance/price of these two solutions (Meetup needing a PC connection vs Portal TV just works on its own without additional device apat from TV) - Portal TV is truly fantastic value.

Better than Alexa for critical feature!!!
This device has something that no other device has and is badly needed during Covid - it enables my parents to interact with their grandchild without us holding her in place or chasing her around the room. It zooms in and out and follows her around the room. It is a game changer. Plus, it shows us and them on the big sceeen tv! We sit down like we’re watching tv to talk with my parents. They bought one too and they sit back and relax rather than squinting and hunching over a tiny smart phone display. Believe me - this device is infinitely better than Alexa when it comes to this critical feature.

Great Device but where is the Facebook Live App?
The device is easy to set and install, and works perfectly. The main drawback for me is that it does not have the Facebook Live recording app. This was the reason I bought the device. Hopefully in the future this capability will be added.

Discreet though a little confusing
Discrete, but a bit of a pain to use, I imagined it would be one step to answer/operate, but this isn’t the case, calls always come through to my iPad and I have to ask the person at the other end if I can call them back after I have initiated this from the tv. Not quite what I expected in that respect.Once on, the sound, picture quality and everything else works great, but because of the set up, which isn’t super simple, we haven’t used it as much as we thought we would. I probably wouldn’t buy again, it’s not a cheap option.

These devices are inexpensive full follow cameras with excellent microphone and Video
I am using these in 3 locations for professional conferencing. The only issue is that there are no apps for business use. WhatsApp is dangerous and the business app they say to use is just a jungle of emails and marketing. I wish I could group call more than two at a time, it for 100.00 …. I’m not complaining!!I will be purchasing for home use as well!

Yes, but make sure no we're it's coming from
I pulled mine out of the box I live in the USA and it had a UK plug on it and there's our totally different so I had to order a new plug before I could even use it and I don't like how it works for the TV part I had a really hard time hooking my prime video up to it it kept changing my password and when you use the Google part of it to pull up an app it's like being on a computer without a mouse but other than that I like it.

Sent to me with a UK plug (Type G?)
I had recently moved to a new state and wanted to buy a portal tv for my family to video call on Christmas. It arrived at their house with a power chord that is not compatible with US outlets. I called Amazon support and they informed me that this was correctly listed since the seller was Amazon Global Store UK.I disagree, and I think this item is listed incorrectly for the following reasons:- I bought this on the American version of the site (Amazon.com and not Amazon.co.uk)- I made no specific selection for an outlet that is not standard- There is nothing in the item's description about what kind of power outlet it is compatible withMaybe I'm wrong about how this works, but I didn't think that the product you received should vary based on who the seller was (At least not without informing the shopper). I don't think that it is appropriate to assume that I should be required to infer what product I am going to received based off of the name of the seller.

Only worked a couple weeks
After the first few weeks this thing started dropping calls for poor network. My network was strong every time. Must be something internal
