These are brilliant

I received these cleaning cloths and lens cleaning tissue booklet with a substantial discount as part of this company's promotion plan in return for an honest review, and until I received this product I never actually noticed the impression left on my laptop screen of the keyboard - this is more noticeable AFTER you've cleaned your screen, as the oil from your fingers is left on the keyboard which then transfers back onto the screen when you close the lid. This is also exacerbated with very modern laptops which have very tight tolerances.Having said that, as part of this kit you get 4x cloths which cover the keyboard area only (make sure you order the right size for your screen - the cloth is meant to cover just the keyboard area, not the trackpad etc), and another cloth which you can use as a cleaning cloth as it is double sided, and it does an admirable job of keeping the screen clean and also acting as a bit of (minimal) cushioning/protection between the keyboard and screen (N.B. this product is not marketed or meant to be used as such) which otherwise would be in contact with each other.In addition to this, you also get a booklet of 50x lens cleaning tissues - I had minimal use for these, as the issue I have with screens is leaving grease/oil marks on them which requires the use of a wet tissue to completely get rid of, however the tissues are of a good quality and if you use them they're a useful addition to the pack.Compared to other similar kits I've found, this kit from Camkix represents good value for money and is of a high quality.

I have to admit that i was initially not expecting a lot from these. Truth be told i find these types of products to generally be low quality and do more damage than protection.So I’m very surprised, and happy to say that these are the opposite.The 4 keyboard liners are soft and thin, and do a great job of protecting the screen from the keyboard. I use 2 of them on my 15in MacBook, and a third on my iPad Pro 12.9, as i use a slim folio keyboard case. It’s a perfect fit and does a superb job!The cleaning cloth is a good sized one, and does a superb job of cleaning the screens of both my iPad and MacBook.The lens cleaning sheets are also a solid size as well, which i have to admit surprised me. These also do well as normal screen cleaners.Overall this is a superb and highly recommended purchase.I do however feel that the way it’s packaged dosen’t do it justice, and frankly is rather off putting. Everything comes loose in a plastic pouch that’s about as pleasing as a mouldy apple.I also wish they’d included the cleaning solution as well. However these are minor issues, and don’t stop this being a superb kit.

In the past I've had problems with Mac screens getting weird markings. It happens when you close the case and something about the keyboard making contact with the screen causes markings that look like dirt, but can't be removed with a wipe.From what I understand it's some kind of lacquer coating on the screen that ends up damaged. It's very annoying.These cloths are placed over the keyboard before you close the lid, so the soft material (and it's very soft) protects the screen from getting those markings.I have a 13 inch and a 16 inch Macbook and the fact you get four cloths in this pack is great. I can use one on its own for the 13 inch Macbook and I use two (vertically positioned so to speak) to cover the keyboard on the 16 inch Macbook. They work well.I think they are also meant to double up as cleaning cloths, but I wouldn't use them that way myself. I'm happy to just use them to cover the keyboard and protect my screen. They're so thin that they don't affect closing the laptop lid.I guess they're fine for any laptop, not just Macbooks, but as far as I know Macbooks do have this problem with screens getting marked so if you have a Macbook I think these are ideal.As you can see from my photo, when you use two of them on a 16 inch Macbook they overhang the end a bit, but I don't mind that. You could always fold the end over if it really bothered you. I think they're thin enough that you could do that.

4 Black cleaning cloth/keyboard liners - yes, they are soft and yes they are very good for wiping smudges. The material is very tightly woven which wipes away marks. Used on glasses they are excellent. They are not the cheaper free so called micro fibre clothes, they do work well.You also get one blue lines cloth, even softer than the black ones!! Also great for removing smudges on your shiny laptop screen or even TV.Image one shows a packet of lens cleaning tissues. The texture is pretty soft but also look quite fibrous. Not sure if they will scratch or not but they can clean greasy glasses just as well.Would I spend £9 on this set of cloths? They are good and I mean they are very good. Its a better cleaning cloth than the included cloth from my designer glasses.I suppose you get what you pay for with these. They are nice, they are expensive but they really do clean and do it well

What can I say, I've used many products from #camkix @camkix in the past including their cleaning cloths, for my DSLR camera/lenses, GoPro and drone, and the quality hasn't diminished as they've become more successful!Great value for money as you get 4 x keyboard cloths, 1 x double cleaning cloth and 1 x 50 sheets of cleaning tissue paper. The double sided cloth is great for quickly lifting those oily fingerprints we leave on screens and keyboards! The large keyboard cloths are great for maintaining keyboard cleanliness and protecting the screen. The tissues are very good on my glasses for those annoying little smudges and come in a very handy size!
