Cheap and easy. Holding tight!
Got it on sale, less than $20. Works great, I wound up needing to double wrap mine around the base under the spool, it looks like it only has one wrap in the installation images.Easy setup. I had mine stretched to just shy of the limit (~40 feet) I tested it with heavy old blankets and it didn't droop too low. With the blankets, the lowest point had about a meter/ yard of clearance above the ground. Ymmv, obviously it depends on how tight you make the cable and how high it's installed.I installed the spool around 7-7.5 feet high and 40 feet away the best spot for the hook was about 6.5 feet high. Without anything on it, I can walk under it fine. The lowest point was about 6'4", so there's no issues with mowing while it's up.I recommend using your own screws if you have any, the heads on these were pretty weak and quickly stripped, even with proper pressure and level everything... but they are holding nicely. (Not looking forward to removing them later, though)The clothes pins were a nice addition.Another item crossed off the list for cheap, thanks!

Still up even in FL heat/rain!
Family of 6!Laundry is just one of those things that I am always trying to stay on top of.So if a load is done in the washer but the dryer is still going, I’ll put the clothes out of the line.I have it across my porch so I do have some hooks on my poles that I put across to help keep the line itself up.It would definitely sag without the extra support.I love the fact that it retracts and it has held up well in FL heat/rain.It was super easy to install for pretty much any DIY person.Excellent for the price and probably has saved me money on my electric bill.

Easy
Works pretty good. Love the easy put up. Seems to be sturdy enough, but time will tell. I think worth the money

Nice little clothesline
This is a nice little clothesline. Does it sag a little? Yeah, a little. Would I try to hang my whole wash out, no. But for the few items I don't like placing in the dryer, it's perfect and items dry quickly and don't hang in my shower for a week. When we have guests you don't even notice the reel. I would give a 4.5 star because the line is a little thin but since I can't I will go up to the 5, I really like this little clothesline!

It’s up and working..
Was pleased by the quick delivery and price of this item. I purchased as a replacement for a similar retractable clothesline that had after 10 years broken. It installed easily.. however the line itself seemed flimsy and I couldn’t seem to tighten it enough. The plastic case also seemed thinner..makes me think it is not sturdy.

Dry multiple loads at the same time
I live in a sunny location where energy is expensive, and I am trying to find ways to cut down on my energy bill. Enter this retractable clothesline. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! It was easy to install, the line in extremely long so I can dry multiple loads at the same time, and it is rather well hidden when not in use. I love the fact that you can tuck the cord around the stopper on the hub of the clothes line to stop it from dangling toward the ground once you start putting clothes on it. I have already recouped the cost of the device with my energy bill savings. It takes more time to peg up clothes than put them straight in the dryer, but the energy savings and the fact that my clothes are not being treated as harshly on the line as in the hot tumble dryer makes it entirely worth it.

Good quality
Used almost daily for 2 years. Good quality, but difficult to re-tension cord, seems like there should be an easier way.
