Does what it is meant to... basically feels like a glorified mitten. I can feel the heat of my hair, but I'm not singeing the heck out of my skin anymore, which I would sit there and cuss like a sailor because of previously. It's nice to have the barrier. Would I ever spend that much on a glove again? No. I'd look for a straightener or curler that came with one, or buy one from the dollar store. It's about the same effect, especially since it's about as bulky as one from there. I didn't expect it to be quite that thick, which that was a bit of a disappointment. It made running my fingers through my hair awkward, so a brush was necessary, and holding a brush while this was on was even more difficult considering the whole idea is for this hand to be the one that eventually separates the hair that recently touched the ceramic. It's a great theory, I just wish the fingers could be thinner.

This glove does not seem any different the 99 cent pair of mittens you can buy at the dollar store to wear in the winter. Yes, I can touch the wand but only for 2 seconds before it is too hot and burns. I have pretty tough hands that tolerate heat well and this product doesn't cut it.

Had some sort of allergic reaction to this glove. It made my skin rough or something weird. Also doesn't seem to stand up to high heat very well, after 2 uses it kind of looks like it's melted a little. Threw it away. Fast shipping though.

I ordered this heat resistant glove to use with my hot curling iron, because it came with a partial glove, and I kept burning my hand. This is a very good quality glove and it definitely protects my hand from burns. It is not to bulky, and it does the job. I only recently have started using a curling iron without a clip, so it took me some practice to not burn my hand. This glove allows me to curl my hair without worrying about getting burned. It is definitely heat resistant! It is just the right size, and it is comfortable to wear and not itchy or anything. I did receive this Heat Resistant glove at a reduced price to review and describe honestly. It is so much better than the partial glove that I had, that only covered two fingers. I am just not good enough with a hot iron to not have my hand protected entirely. I highly recommend this glove. It is reasonably priced and arrives quickly.

I'm really happy with this heat resistant glove. My wand came with the three finger glove which I didn't care for so I decided to try a full glove instead. It works! As a new wand user I've burned my knuckles a couple times from the wand slipping out of my hand or just trying to figure out how to maneuver it around, it can be tricky! I only hold the wand for 3-6 seconds per section of hair. I do feel warmth but it's not overly hot. I would assume if you held your hand even with the glove for an extended period of time you would get burned. The curling wand I have goes up to 450 degrees but I never set it higher than 400. Overall I am happy with this glove. I received this product at a reduced price for my honest, unbiased review.

After numerous burns and blisters while using a curling wand I purchased this glove. The curling wand I have came with a 3 finger glove (??) that was only good for one hand and didn't do much to protect my fingers from the heat. This glove is a far better alternative. I like that it's able to be worn on either hand and it definitely provides more protection than what I had. The only reason I knocked off a star is because I feel like the protection from the heat could be a bit better, especially for the cost.
