Baby Bopp Changing Station, Portable Changing Mat, Black

I actually purchased this thing at "full price". As a new dad I was struggling to keep a sense of machismo while toting a bloated diaper bag covered in flowery prints. So, while I was very thankful mom had assembled such a complete baby care platform in advance, I knew I would need something more my style. Enter the tactical changing bag (a repurposed tactical patrol bag).With a nice manly bag selected I needed to fill it with efficient and manly accessories. First on the list, a changing pad. Let me explain why I picked the Baby Bopp Delux Changing Station Pad (henceforth BBDCSP):* It folds nice and thin which allows for quick draw and easy deployment. Sure you could load the pockets up with crèmes, wipes, diapers and pacifiers but I prefer to keep those in the tactical bag not the changing pad.* The unfolded dimensions are larger than most similar products.* It comes in plain black. Nothing screams tactical diaper changer like simple black.My experience with the BBDCSP indicates that:*It is easy to clean off various baby fluids and semi-solids.*It doesn't seem to crumple, fold, or otherwise shrink under pressure.*It is large enough that I hope to use it until the little one can pee in the woods.All in all, the BBDCSP functions so well I'd recommend it in any color (although black is clearly the best choice for tactical diaper changing).

Perfect for my husband's diaper bag/gym bag, this keeps him organized! I had a diffferent case for diapers and a pad but I found myself always "stealing" his bc it is much more convenient abc fits neatly into my diaper bag. With baby #2 on the way I finally decided to buy one of own. I love this changing station and highly recommend it!

I have purchased changing stations in past, and I continue to use them because they are durable, and they last for years. When I have an infant I need the whole diaper bag with bottle, snacks, change of clothes, etc. However, once the child grows to a toddler and doesn’t need all those toys and things, the portable changing station is even more valuable.When my babies are small I leave this in the diaper bag, because the mat is easier to clean and keep sanitary, than those baby changing tables in public restrooms. I have even used it to change the baby on the floor of my mini-van when a restroom wasn’t close by while traveling on long road trips. Now that my little guy is a toddler I carry just this because it is compact and light weight, and I leave the big diaper bag at home.This Baby Bopp Changing Station has some great features that others don’t have. The first great feature is the ability to unzip the mat from the rest of the bag. Now, when I clean the mat, I don’t have to worry about getting water on the rest of the fabric, and then waiting for it to dry. The second great feature is the plastic lined pocket. It might be more difficult to clean, but if I don’t have a separate plastic bag for wet/messy items I can put them in there and don’t have to worry about making a mess in other locations of my vehicle or diaper bag. Third great feature is the small strap that opens and closes. I can attach it to the stroller, shopping cart, or seat of the car so that it doesn’t fall out or get lost. The fourth great feature is the attached handle making it easy to carry.This mat on this changing station is about the same size as others that I have purchased. It has an outer pocket that is plastic lined that is easily accessible for keys or phone. It has one mesh pocket that is great for diapers/wipes, and an inner zippered pocket also for the diapers/wipes/diaper cream. It folds compactly and has a small Velcro square on the inside to keep the mat folded if you unstrapped it to access the inner zippered pocket, but don’t want to unroll the mat.Even if you are not traveling, these mats are great. I keep one at home for diaper changes. I always change my babies on the diaper mat because it keeps the poop off the carpet. This Baby Bopp Changing Station is great for anybody who has a child in diapers, and is an awesome baby shower gift. As a busy mom with seven kids ranging from 14 to 2 months, we have A LOT of stuff. We have three children in diapers currently, so we have a huge diaper bag. On quick trips, I hate having to lug one of our big diaper bags around (even the backpack, which can get heavy). I had taken to putting loose diapers, a travel pack of wipes, and a changing pad in the pocket of my stroller or in the underbasket of our double stroller. They just got knocked out, forgotten, lost, or dirty…depending on the activity. I had to find a better way. Enter the Baby Bopp Diaper Change Kit.This thing holds just enough for me to take into the store, my son’s therapy appointments, or school meetings. I can fit two onesies, four size one diapers, three or four pullups and a small (like the target travel size) package of wipes. It includes a wetbag type area for soiled clothing, though I put our clean onesies in it. It also has an interior zipper pocket and a mesh pocket with a Velcro closure. The changing pad can zip off for separate use, which we did with my older toddler. The whole thing has a strap to close it together, and another strap to allow you to use it as a clutch or hang it from the stroller handle. All-in-all, this is a great little “quick trip” kit.
