I really like this product
I really like this product. It is easy to use. Breaks down to a small version to travel and store easily. Used daily in our school setting. The legs are not heavy, but light weight so it will fall over easily if someone bumps it.

A solid performer - accept no imitations
The Quartet is the workhorse of the portable tripod business. You can even purchase an add-on flip-chart paper holder. How cool is that? However, it is not meant to stand up to abuse. What does this mean? Never overcrank the legs when tightening the telescoping legs. THis will lead to you stripping the screws or end up locking in place. I've also had the plastic parts shatter if it is dropped on asphalt. So take care of your Quartet and it will take care of you. Pro tip: get some clipon LED lights to make people look at your easel with front-lighting. If someone made an easel with built in LED lights, I'd never buy anything else.

Three stars is enough. The Good - On first inspection, these easels look good, not great simply good. They are light weight, I'm hoping the claim to support 25# of weight is true (which is why I chose this easel over others). The 2 slides that support the weight are 2.5in so your frame can be about 2.25" wide. They snap down and stay put with tension, which I expect will loosen in time--hope it withstand at lease a year of readjustment, but by the looks of things, I doubt they will . They are light weight which is real nice. The Bad - the tightening mechanism that holds the height of the 3 telescoping legs is cheap. I couldn't tell if I was tightening or loosening or anything for that matter, there is very little movement that can be felt. When I looked closely I noticed a double sided arrow indicating it's what tightens/loosens and holds the legs in place. Again, it looks real cheap and I know that in time I'll need to find a way to keep the legs from sliding (I don't trust they'll support the 25lbs so I'm packing a roll of electrical tape just in case).I chose this easel over the others because of the claim to support 25lbs and the price. The $46 price is a bit much, I would have liked a carrying case. In a couple of months I'll update my review. The best part of ordering these easels is that I placed the order on Saturday, they were to be delivered via Amazon Prime by Wednesday, I received them today Monday around 4pm. AWESOME!

Display Easel Excellence!
This item is exactly as it is described. It has a better than normal weight capacity while still being attractive. The black finish "disappears" better than the silver aluminum. It is extremely easy to set up, and the price was better than any display-specific sites I visited. It was delivered very quickly with regular no-cost shipping. Go get 'em while they last. This is a real bargain. Don't waste your money on those lightweight easels offered at Office stores. You get what you pay for. Basically a good for being cheap buy, but next time just go for the high end brands
Arrived in piec3s, not a big deal since everything is kind of "clip on" but still, the box obviously had been hit hard or dropped/fell hard... if it was anything else itd be broken forsure. ZERO directions btw , amd the half round long black piece that they have as the base of where the canvas will go doesnt fit, but it does fit at the very top... just a shoddy design job there- the sliding bit at the top also has a bad design. I bought it because itll hold 45 lbs, but as its kind of a flimsy material im now womdering if it actually hold that much, so we wil see about that. So to finalize: Good enough for the low amount of money but not worth it for even a dollar.more- so go for a higher end eisle next time even if it costs more

Not flimsy like many easels out there
Holds up well to being carried around, stored, and set back up again. Not flimsy like many easels out there. Ordered these for work, and then a few months later got a new job. We needed easels there and I got these same ones because I trusted the quality.

Sturdy Product!
I used this stand to display a 16x20 wedding portrait at my anniversary dinner. I had no problems at all. The legs/height are steady and adjustable and the item holders are wide and sturdy enough to hold a wide bottom frame. I'm going use it for displays at the church and other needs. Great purchase!!
