This Product works for power display and data transfer at the same time. It also saves USB C from getting damaged because of frequent usage for data, display and power needs.I use this device to connect a hdmi hub to send display to my 2nd and 3rd Monitor It's Very quick and safe for me to pull the laptop away if i have to move out for a meeting.Works very well with small travel hubs and large HUBs, where laptop is connected to a single cable and rest of the accessories can be connected to the HUBi purchased two units of this device, as it works safely with my HP Windows Laptop and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus

Nice design, not so great quality.
Bought two of these, one for a MacBook Air and one for a PSVR2. They have been working well and have a streamlined design.Unfortunately the one being used for the PSV2 just broke after 3 months of light use (maybe around 60 attach/detach cycles). There was nothing pulling on the cable, it just suddenly cut power to the PSVR2. Light shows green but no power makes it to the PSVR2, no matter which way the USB-C is plugged in.EDIT: 1 month later and now the one being used for the MacBook is having connection issues.

It works on the quest link cable!
Works for the quest hell yeah! Able to keep my headset port safe!

Intermittent connection after 6 months
When connecting to an M1 MacBook Air, after six months of use, the magnet alone will not make a stable connection for charging. One has to push on the connector to have the green charging light appear. Slightest movement disconnects. Worked good for a couple of months--the cable end would snap to the piece in the computer and the green light would appear. No longer the case. Back to plugging the USB-C charging cable in directly.
