Fabulous!
Absolutely fabulous and dependable! Got two sets of these a few months ago. A tornado just ripped through our small town over the weekend, and the electricity went off. These lights worked exactly as they were supposed to. The tornado came through at midnight, and the power went off. These lights were plugged in, and they turned on immediately when the power went off. They stayed on almost 12 hours. I turned them off then, but they were getting a little weak. Took them elsewhere to charge them back up. If in a scenario without electricity just overnight, these are spectacular and lifesavers. If in a major disaster ~ like a tornado or hurricane, where electricity will be off multiple nights ~ these would need a power source to charge them at some point. Truly grateful for these. They provide a good amount of light when you need it most. Thanks for carrying, Amazon ~ truly!

Be Always Ready To Power See with Energizer Weatheready Light
I bought this pack of 3Gave one to my dadAnd such a great product for a place where there’s no electricity/ outages all the time / emergency / I placed one on hallway and I tried it the lights were bright and very handy.I placed mine in my apartment hallway and kept as a reserve - I will need to buy more of those for others as gifts.Energizer Weatheready Rechargeable Compact Handheld Light helps you prepare for power outages with a rechargeable plug-in design. Designed for emergency situations, this rechargeable LED light features a built-in rechargeable battery and plugs into the wall so it's always charged and ready to help keep your family safe. This emergency flashlight is up to 4x brighter than standard LED technology and illuminates objects up to 30 meters away to give you the brightness you need when the lights go out. A retractable AC plug goes directly into any standard electrical outlet and folds out of the way while you use this Energizer flashlight. It charges overnight to provide 3 hours of runtime, and it has a red LED charging indicator that lights up to show you when this flashlight is charging. Leave the switch in the on position while it charges so the compact flashlight turns on automatically when the power goes out, making it easy to find and convert into a handheld flashlight. No batteries to replace, always ready to shine.

Self Charging Emergency Flashlights
Good self charging flashlights. Not big or powerful like the "head bobbers" the cops carry but adequate to find your way around the house when the power goes out. I have two, one on each side of each room. They are always ready!

These are great for power outages
This is our second set of these. We bought the first one when our electricity provider was having a lot of issues in our area and the power would go off unexpectedly quite frequently. Living in an area where in winter we have more hours of darkness than daylight, it's essential to have something that kicks in as soon as the power goes off. Otherwise, we have to be fumbling around the house trying to find our lanterns. Besides, there's nothing more annoying than the power going off when it's dark outside and you can't see anything and you're trying to not stumble on furniture, or worse, you are cooking, for example. You just plug this in (just make sure the ON/OFF switch is in the correct position to charge and operate) and they are ready for whenever you need them. If the power goes off, they will turn on immediately. They are also very useful if you need to look for something in a dark cabinet or closet: You just unplugged them and they turn on immediately. They have a red indicator to let you know if they are charging.I also find the design to be very ergonomic. They are not big, they are not too small that you may misplace them, they fit comfortable in my hand (I have very short fingers,) and they are very easy to use. When used as a handheld lantern, it has a feature to push the plug prongs in so they stay out of the way. When you're ready to plug them back in, you just push the lever and the prongs come out again.I can't speak for how long they will last on a single charge. So far, we never reached the point with ours. We use other lanterns for when the power is out for hours. In my opinion, these are more intended as an emergency device, not something that you'll carry around all the time. Once we turn our other emergency, bigger lanterns and lamps on, we turn these ones off. We may turn them back on as nightlight if the power is still out during the night. But we prefer the glow sticks for that since these are very bright.Overall, yes, I do recommend them. Like I said, this is our second set. I bought them from the Amazon Renewed store and saved myself 50% the cost of new ones. The only reason why I gave them 4 stars is because they do look a bit use. That's all.

Great little flashlights for when the power goes out
These are great little flashlights. I had one that was big but, it couldn't keep a charge, but I had it for years. I did tried theses day after I got them in a dark basement and they worked great.

They work
Power went out at night for a short period. They turned on. These put out enough light to allow you to find your other emergency lighting without stubbing your toes on the furniture.
