Does The Trick!
I'm 63 and haven't used VR headset since the original Oculus with Samsung mounted phone. Meta 2 was finally on sale, so I took the leap. The set is very heavy for someone my age - so I decided to give a back strap apparatus a try. WOW! I wear this lower on my skull, tighten the side straps very lightly, adjust the top velcro, pull the side arms up just a little so the Meta isn't resting on my face, and this attachment does the trick! The Meta is 4 star balanced on my face, no longer pulling under my eyes and forehead. Takes some adjusting but find the sweet spot and this addition is definitely worth the low price. Soft, pliable, comfy. (Ordered white, b/c I wanted it to match the straps.)

Incredible
I used another strap + battery, lets call it the BB Pro 😉, and while the comfort, balance, and value is excellent, it eventually caused me great neck discomfort from the combined weight.I searched for a great lightweight strap, and immediately found this AMVR head pad, but I thought there just had to be something else that looked the part, something that showed it's comfort just by the pictures. Honestly the options for the especially light weight category are limited, so I did land on the AMVR head pad. After a week of use, this thing is simply incredible. Secure, comfortable, and such a dramatic difference in weight from my last head strap. I come out of VR feeling energized, not dealing with lingering discomfort.Meta needs to buy AMVR's pads and include them with the Quest 2.

Makes a big difference - but too expensive.
This rear head strap accessory for the stock Quest 2 makes wearing the headset much more comfortable for extended periods. By distributing force and pressure across a wider area along the back of the skull, it relieves pressure points and general discomfort from both the front and back contact points. It also makes the headset arms easier to adjust for the right sweet spot. The fact that this can all be accomplished with a cheap piece of rubber makes me pissed that #1, Facebook didn't think of something like this when designing the head strap, and #2 I had to pay almost $20 for something that probably costs less than a dollar to produce. I'll deal with it because the value it provides is worth the money.

Makes the Quest 3 default strap COMFORTABLE!
I got a Quest 3 and right now none of the 3rd party straps are out. I bought this after seeing a video from VRCauldron (Youtube) saying it will make the Quest 3 strap tolerable. I am actually floored by how great this thing is! It doesn't just make the strap tolerable, it makes it actually comfortable. It also feels nice and cool on the back of my head when I first put it on. I am actually debating whether or not I need to get a 3rd party strap. It's also very light and way more portable than most 3rd party straps (or the Quest elite strap). This this on, the strap cradles my head and doesn't feel like the headset is clamped to my face. There is still some pressure on the front of my face but that's from the weight of the headset. At the very least like another reviewer said it's a worth while stop gap, until your brand of choice releases their head strap. However I might just stick with this thing. This thing is great! One thing to keep in mind I have short hair (about 3inches in length), and that's the perspective my review is written from. I"m not sure if people with longer hair or pony tails would have the same experience.

Works on Quest 3 as a stopgap
This item is a very good value for the money. It was good enough that it took me a year to bother upgrading to a full-on head strap. Fortunately it was stashed away in a box ever since, and now that Quest 3 is out and there are no 3rd party straps, it's alive again. This isn't fully "functional" for Q3 per se, but does behave perfectly as if it is. The center "notch" isn't positioned for the center strap of the default harness to lace through it, but the two other side "grips" are able to latch onto it with no problem, and it holds reliably in place. Just a hack for anyone who's in a tight spot.

Better than official elite strap and bobovr
I've tried two of the most popular straps on the market, the official quest 2 elite strap and the bobovr m2. Shockingly I prefer this AMVR silicone head strap attachment paired with the original soft strap over both of them. There are 3 things that make this strap my favorite. It feels lighter overall. Its more flexible allowing to position the silicone head pad lower on the back of the had than other straps. And I can comfortably lay back with a pillow behind my head. It also fits on the quest 3 as well!

More comfortable than the pro strap!
This makes the fabric strap extremely comfortable. It's more comfortable than the pro strap Meta sells. I looove the fact that I can lay down and use it. I got this for the Quest 3 and it works perfect!

Excellent to make the Quest 2 or 3 stock strap more comfortable
I have the Quest 3 and wasn't ready to invest even more money into buying a better head strap. I came across this item in a YT video where the presenter said this Quest 2 strap attachment worked great for the Quest 3 as well. I bought it and it does great (you just can't use the top strap insert, but it still stays in place fine). It lifts the strap over your years and just makes the Quest 3 feel more stable on your head. I like it so much, that I don't know if I will bother investing a ton of money on a strap with more padding because it's really not needed with this add-on. I do however think $16 is too much since it is just soft silicone. In the video I saw it used to be $8 so the price went up a lot within a year or so.Update: After using this head strap while playing some fitness games, I noticed that it keeps slipping up the back of my head. I'm guessing since there is nothing to make it grip really, when moving the strap just slides. So I'm deducting a star for that since it isn't ideal if you are going to be moving your head a lot. Though, customer service was great and reached out later to see if there was anything they could help with.
