Throw away the meat tenderizer mallet. This multiple pin tenderizer is just what you need. The only problem you willo have is knowing how many times you must activate the pins to make your meat just right for your palate. A great buy.

The tenderizer does not make particularly large disruptions in the meat as I had hoped it would. I think that a hammer like tenderizer would work as well or better. The flank steak that I made was not as tender as one that I had the butcher tenderize.
