I am a medical provider, a Physician Assistant (certified), retired, who made suffered with moderate lipid elevations for decades. I used statins with minimal responses. My total cholesterol, my cholesterol VLD, AND TRIGLYCERIDES were all high, my HDL was low, and was reflected on a metabolic screen a week before I started Berberine. Two months later, a repeat metabolic screen revealed normal lipid profiles. High normal, but normal. I look forward to seeing another metabolic screen in six months.I made no dietary changes.

It seems to be the real thing, and what a great value NatureBell provides! I have quite a few of their products, and I think I like them all so far. Only problem is it says to take Berberine with food, but if you search online you will see most say to take it not with food! So I will take it without food and I hope that NatureBell does more research and updates the directions, to just say take it with water, but not say "with a meal".Keep up the good work delivering value and i appreciate you. :)

I'm already on a 500mg once a day metformin.But sometimes when I'm enjoying an extra heavily carb'd dinner, I'll take one right after the meal.I've done a few tests with and without, and my CGM readings confirm the reduction effect of berberine. I only take one pill when necessary.That's just my personal experience.

I've been buying this product for a while, only to recently learn that in independent lab tests, Naturebell failed to deliver on what its label says, providing just 355 mg of berberine per serving. You can look on YouTube for yourself and see the results on a channel called The Anti Aging Channel. They will also give several recommendations for brands that scored well. So why the three Stars? Still, at the current price, even if using the actual 355 mg, the cost per mg is less than the competition.
