While it is anything but new, it works perfectly. Including the remote.

Do not buy. Stay away from this seller. I purchased this VCR and it did not work. It came with a cassette stuck inside of the machine and it would not eject. I contacted the seller multiple times and was ignored. This seller is not proceeding in good faith. Buyer be warned, stay away. Find another seller. If I could have given zero stars then I would have.

#1. I am "Very Happy" with the VCR itself , specifically because it is a "Good - Reliable" product. The remote, well that can use a little tweeking. I still haven't figured out how to use the remote to turn On and OFF the VCR and all of thother options.Thank You Guys;Steve C.

This one works so great, amazing quality on my tv or it's my tapes who knows. I bought from another seller crimson? I think and the tape got stucked it was no good I took it to an electronics repair store, they said it's defective then at first they only gave me back 50% refund. I saw this seller had great reviews and many of the reviews all sellers I researched better I took hours to search and see they have the same problem these vcr don't work by 3rd party's and then they either don't return your money or you get half! I went off on them and got all my money back, I refuse to feel scammed. This seller I took one star off because they sent the remote separate, I don't know if because they forgot but I have not tried using it yet. Ill be back to update if it does not work, other wise this one is safe!

the VCR arrived in good condition and works ... problem is the universal remote control doesn't work ... receive a small GE remote that won't even turn on the vcr much less go to menu to set up clock or time recording ... after talking with seller he sent another remote control that now works with the VCR

The VCR was defective and was returned. They DID NOT issue a full refund and charged a 40% restocking fee even though the product was defective. Watch out, if you inform them that the VCR purchased is not working, they will tell you that the defect was caused by misuse of the product. In my case, they indicated that my reported issue was due to the use of "dirty" or "old" tapes. However, the tapes I used were clean and had been used recently without any issues. My first clue should have been to sound of a loose part in the VCR when I opened it. They may sell some good items but if you get a bad one, expect the blame to be on you.

Rewind doesn't work all the time. Remote is universal and unprogrammed. Had to clean the head several times to get it to work well.
