So what is there to say about this silicone.Ordered two, two arrived with straight nozzles. (Not those stepped nasty ones with red caps)I read the laughable reviews how people really struggled with it but here's it went.Cut out the old mouldy silicone with a sharp new bladed Stanley knife, two cuts the entire length, one into the wall, one down along the wall. Peeled old silicone away. Then cleaned and dried any water and old silicone residue with a scraper.Snipped the nozzle to allow approx 5/8mm hole,with a slight back angle. Applied with constant pressure on the trigger and with a constant clean slow movement across. Wait 10 seconds, (timing is not exact art) smooth off with a wet finger applying light pressure.Just keep your speed (movement with gun nozzle) and feed (pressure on trigger) constant, when you finish your run, press the release button to prevent over flow.Keep the nozzle clean, using index finger to take any over flow off and wipe it to the underside of the tube.It smells, yes. But it's the anti mould you can smell, the stronger the smell (like salt and vengar crisps) the better it usually is. If the silicone doesn't smell, that's usually because it's neutral cure and isn't designed for wet/bath rooms (normally outdoor use!) I opened the window for 4 hours and closed the door. I used the shower approx 8 hours later and water was repelling after 8 hours the smell was non existent better than the usual smells that come from my bathroom....That's it. It's not hard it's not difficult, no one was violently sick and/or fainted because the noxious fumes, people didn't call in the WHO or call in the army with their NBC suits, no children were crying and no animals were hurt.What colour is it? Brilliant white, in both the cured and uncured state.What gun did you use?A standard run of the mill silicone gun, no automatic feeding LCD screened smart gun that has Twitter and Facebook app support.What tools did you use?Basic Stanley knife with a new bladeMK1 fingerSpit (solves most issues)Did you wear gloves?No that's what jeans are for; wiping excess on them!I bought two because like another chap said, they get binned straight after, £3 a tube just do one job and bin. (They usually mottle or go gloopy after a few days unused then it makes the final job look like it has cellulite.Summarize; it's good silicone but if your offended by smells, wear a mask and after this year I'm sure your probably used to wearing one now.I'm glad they didn't go grey like some other people had, unsure if that was a batch issue because the pigments should remain stable and not change colour when curing.Long review for silicone.

I ordered white, it said white on the tube. But a horrible grey/cream colour came out. I'll edit the review if my replacement is the right color. I'm hoping this is an error when they were putting the stickers on! Like I say.. Defo not white.

Don't be put off by the three star and below reviews, it appears some people are even more inept than me!If you use the product as advised there are no problems, if I can do it anyone can!!NB - you need a sealant gun (Everbuild SGNPOWER Power Pro Sealant Gun recommended), you cut the end off the tube and you smooth it down with fingers covered in washing up liquid.

Not great, funny color and I didn't like consistency either.It was ok for what I needed but is not the best in terms of quality.If I needed for important jobs I would spend a bit more.

I have used other brands of silicone in the past, but with this one you can tell it’s good quality. It has good adhesion and quick drying compared with other similar products.From a reputable brand and is easy to use and is excellent value for money.
