Solid. Don't buy cheap batteries
I am a snowboarder and this thing is a game changer! I have a little card pocket in the arm of my jacket for lift passes. Put this right on top of the lift pass and it will stay warm enough to function. And it works fine with thick mittens on. If you dont have a pass pocket in the arm of your jacket or glove, strap it to your arm underneeth your coat. I hear people complain about the battery life and I am convinced they are buying super cheap crap batteries. Because I am on day 4 of the original batteries. They do auto connect and sleep mode works correctly. Once I put my jacket on I can controll my music without even having to manually connect bluetooth each time. Everything you could ask for. Just don't be an idiot and wear it on the outside of your jacket and complain that it doesn't work when it freezes up. Or buy cheap batteries. And you'll be good.

What you need to know.
My chubby button was experiencing intermittent connection after 4 -5 months of usage. Typically I would be using this for mountain biking that has plenty of rain and mud. The unit work flawlessly time after time but it eventually fail (BT connection not found anymore on my phone) after a heavy rain. Contacted CB and they gave me a replacement because it's still within warranty. I disassembled the unit and notice sands inside. this tells me water ingression seeping through the catches. Conclusion: CB is a wonderful product and I highly recommend to everyone. I have never seen a product out there that is so simple, functional and ergonomic. If you intend to use it in an environment with lots of water then it might not be suitable. Lastly I hope CB can be improve further to achieve IP67 level of water protection. Kudos to the for the excellent technical support and replacement unit.
