I'm happy with mine, so I don't understand all the negative complaints. Maybe some weren't sewn well so they unraveled? The fabric is tough, not silky-soft like you may want for travel.For the past three years I have gathered acorns to feed the squirrels around my apt. building. The first two years I used plastic gallon zipper bags, but the nuts kept molding because there was no airflow and I had to wash & dry them several times. I needed another system and after looking at a lot of canvas & mesh bags I ordered these.October 2020 I filled seven of these with over 5 lbs of acorns each. Because of the poor reviews I was afraid the bottoms would fall out. But after pulling their drawstrings tight, I picked up each bag around the opening with one hand and gave them a good shake. NONE OF THEM FAILED.After 4 months I haven't noticed any mold and the bags appear to be holding up fine. The fabric is perfect for my use - I need it to be strong & durable, not soft & flimsy. Plus I got a dozen of them for only 13 bucks!

Purchased lots of these, a Week of using them the seams came undone, had the sew them back together. Also had the replace half of the buttons, the plastic or springs broke. The only durable part is the cord. The mesh fabric part was a lot thinner then I would like, these are not long lasting bags.

I got these bags to hold lava rock. Im gonna put these in front of the pump in the pond to act as a filter and keep the pump from clogging up. I know this isn’t what these are made for but if it can hold ten to fifteen lbs. Of rocks then it could hold your laundry.
