123 Dream

I absolutely love the illustrations in this book. I bought it for my two year old grandson, because he loves owls and moons, and he loves to count. He is only able to follow the counting in this book when the objects being counted are separate and unique. There is a page with trees that is difficult to differentiate where one stops and the other begins, and there is a page with snakes that are intertwined. As my grandson grows the difficulty of this book will decrease as his critical thinking skills increase. As another reviewer mentioned each item to be counted starts with the same letter as the number to be counted; such as thirteen thorns, one owl, or six snakes. There is a page at the end to send you back into the book looking for other objects in the illustrations. This is one of those books that an adult will not mind reading over and over. And it is a book that will be held onto long past the time the child is grown.

This is a delightful book and I was excited to send it to my niece. I also bought a copy of this (and the ABC one) to keep at my house for when friends' children are visiting. The front cover has a metallic sheen on the wings, adding an extra bit of magic.

I love her artwork! I bought all 3 of her children's books for my daughter and I genuinely enjoy reading them with her. If your a parent you know how some children's books can be kind of boring but her illustrations keep it very entertaining and exciting to read!

This book and the ABC Dream book are SO beautiful. There are no words, just beautiful illustrations that prompt imagination and creativity from both myself as the parent, and my toddler. These are his absolute favorite books! Kim Krans—please make more children’s products!!

I bought this for my 2 year old niece. She Loves it. She literally laid on her tummy and repeated every thing I read off the page. It's so beautifully made. I know she'll have these for many years.

WOW. I bought this book along with ABC dream by the same author and they are magical. You discover more eaxh time you read it. It is artistic and so beautiful. I love them and so do my children (2 and 5 years old).
