I was wary of buying this tape because I've had bad experiences in the past with off the wall tape brands and have always stuck with scotch. Since these were the same yards per roll as scotch and cheaper I went with these hoping I didn't make a mistake and end up with lots of bad tape. Luckily it worked out, I couldn't be any happier with this tape. It's actually much thicker and more sticky than the name brands. If I ever had to order again "ShipQuick" clear tape is what I will be buying. Ooo and the packing tape tool was a huge bonus which can be transferred to a new roll easily. I'm a petite women and had no trouble pulling the tape. Ironically the tape actually stayed onto the tool unlike scotched that keeps slidinging off back onto the roll and you have to pick it back off only to have splitting tape; I hate that. No longer very pleased! Though it's a 6 pack I only took photos of the tool on one roll.

Let me first start off by saying, this isn't the worst packaging tape I've Ever paid for, by any means. With that being said, I've bought better tape then this before and this one probably falls in the middle when compared to all the packaging tape I've ever used. As from the three star review the tape is ok. That's the best way to describe it. Some rolls I was able to cut whole pieces and the roll stayed intact and everything was great. Then you had others that would unravel altogether so you were having to deal with the old strips of little pieces and try to keep your cool before throwing into the trash(like I did for two of the six that I purchased. Not my proudest moments but you get the idea). Anyway . The tape stuck well except for the two rolls that didn't make it that far. So if you don't mind taking your chances and possibly only getting decent results from 4 out of 6 rolls of tape then by all means pull the trigger. But just know there are better choices. But hey for the price point it's still cheaper even after throwing away 1/3 of the rolls than some of the other name brand tape choices so do what works for you. Hope this helped. FIRST- The tape cutter it comes with? DON'T USE IT. It tears the tape like little teeth. Then if the tape sticks...starting a new piece is difficult to start because it creates little strands...you know what I mean. You pull down and the tape cones out with only a strand coming out. You go to the other end and it tears a little strand. You go to the middle...same thing. USE SCISSORS TO CUT YOUR TAPE!!! The tape is awesome! The tape tearing piece SUCKS!!!Great Price for what I need. I have to send packages all the time.This is easy to work with. Comes with a holding/cutting device but i rarely use it. I like to tape over my labels and cut with scissors.Good sized and its a 6 pack. Comparing it to other tapes...this price is the best for your money. Clean and clear and it's easy to work with. Truly the best packing tape I've found!Its 1/3 of the price of the brand name tapes, sticks better, comes off the roll better, doesn't split, you can find the end and peel it off easier than the other rolls (no sitting there frustrated, splitting nails), and the quality is superior to the expensive brands. I was skeptical because of the price (the dollar store tapes are just terrible, but its tape, so I figured I'd risk it). I am extremely pleased with this purchase. It'll be a repeat for years to come for sure-please keep the price low.Durable, large quantity, inexpensive, and very well packaged (not overdone in an unnecessarily huge box, but very well protected...so glad to see a paper/biodegradable envelope)! All together just perfect! Thank you!

I compare this with Scotch Packaging tape and Duck EZ-Start tape. It is clearly inferior to those two. It is what it is - a cheap Chinese product. If you have one large moving project and need to tape dozens of boxes in one day then it might be suitable due to the low cost. But if you use clear tape for daily shipping duty, as I do, then avoid this as it will drive you nuts very quickly. It jams every time you use it. At first I thought it was the holder it comes with. But when I changed into a Duck holder the problem persisted. The tape jams about every 6 inches and I am a fairly strong person. Good points: Clarity, pricing, very tacky so presume it will hold well but duration is an unknown. Bad points: Incredibly difficult to unroll, noisy, splits into a zillion pieces if it sticks to itself, difficult to restart so use the tabs in the holder to avoid that.

I sell on ebay, and was looking for an affordable, quality shipping tape that would hold up during the shipping process.This tape definitely seems to stay on the boxes (whereas some other brands I've tried would already be peeling up before I even got to the post office). My only real complaint is that the dispenser that comes with the tape is absolutely atrocious. It causes the tape to streak so you have to be careful not to cover the barcode on your shipping label with those streaks, and it's a huge pain in the rear to get the tape to smoothly dispense while taping across a box without having to stop multiple times along the way. The tape itself is definitely the best of the brands I've tried in recent months, and the price point is very reasonable. So, the tape itself - GREAT - but definitely buy yourself another tape gun/dispenser if you don't already have one.

Pros: (1) Good thickness, comparable to a premium brand tape at generic prices. (2) Sticks to moving boxes as expected. (3) Easy to get the tape started (it doesn't shred or tear when you peel it back).Cons: (1)The dispenser is not so good - I ripped it off and threw it out the window. Scissors work fine.(2)There is a plasticky-chemical smell when you open the plastic package. It's rather foul, but seems to diminish after off-gassing for a few hours.All in all, great deal, thick rolls of premium tape, better than expected.

Imagine the effort it took me to go look up this order to leave a review on packing tape I ordered 8 months ago. This tape SUCKS. Every time you have to peel it off to start using it it strips in tiny little pieces. Even if you bend the end. So friggin' frustrating. I'm an environmentalist that doesn't like to waste anything and the rest of this garbage is going in the bin.

Cheaper than tape by bigger brand names, with less tape. Includes somewhat functional dispenser, decently sticky, separates reasonably easy, and does tear accidentally somewhat, but its nice and clear. Nothing to hate about it, and will last you a long time.

Great tape and very strong. The only problem it has is an odour you have to get used to but it is worth it because of the strength of the tape.

Great tape, terrible dispenser. Keep losing the end of the tape and it is very hard to retrieve it. Keep wasting the tape.

Good for the price but sometimes the tape shreds and become hard to start it again.
