o.b. Super Plus Absorbency Tampons 40-Count Boxes (Pack of 3)

I ordered o.b. from Amazon when I couldn't find it ANYWHERE for a few months a couple years ago. I ended up ordering a year supply from an online pharmacy at a really great price, but I started with Amazon. I will NEVER use anything but o.b. Best Thing Ever!!! I carry them in my pocket, usually 1-3 at a time so I don't have to worry about grabbing one throughout the day, I always have them in my desk drawer, in my purse, and several boxes under my bathroom cabinets. The no applicator is a HUGE selling point, but the size just brings it all together. The only reason I could see someone using something different is if they are young and are using a tampon for the first time, but other than inexperience, why wouldn't use o.b? I generally use the super plus, but the regular quite frankly are super absorbent and work just as well. Though I only sleep with the super plus. :)

I ordered these when it appeared as though none of my local stores had any OB super-plus tampons on the shelves and/or in stock. I did a bit of online research and discovered that the company had apparently pulled this product back in December in order to make some changes for re-release sometime in 2011, so I was in a bit of a panic about not having my preferred tampons available. This vendor provided the best price, although it was still far higher than the typical per-box retail price (usually around $8), but I figured having at least a few boxes of tampons would see me through several months until the product itself re-emerged. Unfortunately, this happened sooner rather than later, and about 2 weeks after I ordered and received my shipment, I noticed that the OB tampons had reappeared. Oh well. At least now I've got enough tampons for quite awhile, just in case something weird happens again...

So I started using this brand when I began my period- 1978... so when they stopped carrying them on the shelves at Walmart, Target and the local grocery chain, you could only imagine how I felt. Looked on Amazon.com and like all my other needs that Amazon.com meets - boom, ordered an done! This review is just as much as Amazon.com as it is for OB tampons.Love the small, compact style. Takes some getting used to not having an aplicator, but so much more natural. Needless to say, OB is once again available in the stores. But I will continue to order on line for the convenience!

As so many women have wailed, "Please bring back the Ultra! We NEED it!"Looks like OB isn't going to answer our wishes, so this is the best alternative.I've been using OB for 10+ years, and always with excellent results.(Tried many others; none can compare.)OB reliably provides absorbency, great comfort, very easy insertion, and the most portability (no applicator, so fits easily in a small or slimline wallet).OB is STILL not available in stores (at least here in Southern California), so a big Thank You to Amazon for stocking it!

These were pulled from shelves near our home. This is how I have to buy them now. Best ones on the market! Speedy delivery too.

I generally purchase these directly from the store however, for some odd reason, (I later found out that it was a manufacturing issue), they were no where to be found. So, I searched online and some unscrupulous types were selling them on ebay for exboritant prices! But not so on Amazon. The price was fair and the shipping was fast. Thanks!

Great eco friendly product. Better absorbency than other styles and brands. I wish they were available in local stores but this is a good deal.

Always used this brand and will never use anything else! Love the larger box count - cannot get this count in the Caribbean so this is a must buy product for me. Thanks for coming back ob!!!!
