My daughter wanted a day timer similar to mine; however, I came across this planner while I was filling my basket with the day timer parts and asked her if she would prefer to try this instead. She did .. so I purchased it. We received it today and it is nice! So nice, in fact, that I plan on retiring my day timer for one of these, too.Although both planners are similar in size and the inserts that I use for my day timer have the same 1 week/2 page format, this planner provides more room per day for written notes. In addition, this version of Grace planners provides 2 pages for notes after each week (the other version of Grace planner does not). This is especially helpful when you have to keep track of a lot of appointments or assignments, keep detailed notes about an appointment/assignment, required to keep a mileage log, or track medical/business expenses. We also appreciate the (2) full year calendars that are included in the inside covers as well as the August through July format. Since day timer only offers January - December packages, I would have had to throw away half of the pages right off had she opted for that system. In terms of price, at $15.99, this planner is economical. My only wish list item is for a built-in pen/pencil holder.

Really like this planner. Has interior pockets, a monthly calendar and then daily pages as well. Nice size, not too heavy or bulky and love the daily bible reading plan.

11-19-2012I purchased this planner last year to help me keep track of meetings and important dates. The dedicated space for each day to write appointments, make notes, or even to use as a more traditional 'journal' is the main reason I purchased it for a second year. Happily I see that they have redesigned it with inside 'pockets' on the front and rear flaps. A nice place to secure notes....and an emery board. The quality of the paper is great and the spiral looks as if it will once again survive a year of in-and-out of my purses/suitcase/backpacks. The scripture is a nice reminder of what is really important without being overwhelming in a professional world.The other reason I was happy to locate it again is the way it feels in my hand. There's a feel of quality to it....survivability without being leather. I've never had a problem with ink seeping thru to the other side of the page. I like the 'full month' page for a quick glance at my schedule without accidentally 'sharing' information/details to any wandering eyes.I saw the other design for this year's planner. It was black with a pattern of thorns on the cover. Personally, I preferred this design with the beautiful tree on it even tho it was a few dollars more (different sellers.) I am so happy I decided to spend the extra money as this is a beautiful planner that I will use daily. Well worth it!

I love the fact it gives you empty sheets between Avery week and of course the bible verses. However, since I am used to a different format I still have not got used to it. Quality is good.

January was printed upside down, very disappointing, probably never buy again

I love these planners! They are the perfect size for a busy working person, someone who likes to list, or for a student. I began my "planner habit" in college, dropped using them for a couple years after college, and then went looking for something similar when life started getting complicated. I found these and have been using them for five or six years now. There is plenty of space for regular planning and schedule keeping in the weekly calendar sections, as well as two pages of note space between each week for additional listing or note keeping, which is very handy. The "Branches" edition is also very beautiful. I have also added a shepherds hook bookmark, which has a bead at the end and slips into the spiral to keep my place - it's very handy! I love the Christian world view that these planners have, too. An Excellent choice for anyone looking for a daily planner!

This is OK, but the fact that there is a blank page between every calendar page, AND a month page after every 8 pages, means that I can flip through the calendar FOREVER without actually knowing where I am. It takes a long time to actually land on a page with dates; seems the blank pages keep coming up. This is a little maddening and time wasting. I suppose it is nice if you want the extra pages, but it seems to me a calendar/planner should do one thing well. Also the extra pages makes the whole thing really fat. Too fat. I will not buy it again.I did like the handy Bible reading schedule in the beginning.

I haven't started using this planner yet but I am excited to use it! Just looking through it I think it will serve my purpose well. I love the Bible reading schedule.Update November 2015.........I would give this 10 stars if I could. It has plenty of room for notes, the lay out is fantastic! Not only do you have each month at a glance and a week at a glance but each day has the same amount of space. I love that they don't put Saturday and Sunday together in a smaller space. The best part is the the 2 pages of notes at the end of every week. Perfect for sermon notes! Thank you so much for this well laid out planner. I hope you never hangs it.....except maybe the cover designs, although I really like those also.
