Seem like great little (Not really little) grinders .... They are glass (I couldn't find if they were glass or plastic before purchase) and seem to be a nice quality .. The tops seem excessively large but they work! Great price**I have used these for a few days now and i have to say you can feel the quality (except the tops, they are thin and tinny) .. However the grind is perfect, smooth and consistent which is important to me! I would recommend this product over any available. Worth the price 100%**UPDATE:I've had these for about a month and have used them maybe 20 times (give or take) ... I have e-mailed the company directly as they sent me about 3 e-mails asking me to review them on Amazon after i was able to use them ... At face value the product looks great and was working fine until there was a "snag" in one of the grinders. I have been using medium sized Himalayan pink salt in the grinder with no problem, the other day it got snagged on something so i shook it sat it down and tried again. This worked for a few grinds however shortly thereafter it started again ... it was almost impossible to get the grinder to spin. It finally "gave way" and kept free spinning, when it did this the black ring fitted around the grind adjuster popped off (i have found no way to get it back on) and a piece of the ceramic grinder gear broke off (you can see it in the pictures) ... I was hoping a direct contact to the company (sent 2 days ago and no response) would help me fix this issue since they state that they are "Backed by a no-questions-asked, 100% satisfaction guarantee, Simple Kitchen will replace your product in the unlikely event of a complication. ORDER YOUR SET TODAY, RISK FREE!"If they can fix my broken product then i will alter my review ... until then this product is broken and does not work as advertised nor are they backing the warranty they state in their product details.****UPDATE 2: I received contact from the company who wanted to make this right, stating that they should never have broken like that and i received a possible defective unit. I received my replacement a few days later and so far so good .. Great customer service and company who wanted to make it right by them. This is such a great thing to see these days****

They look great and solid, the mechanism to adjust the grind. They are also easy to completely disassemble for cleaning.Update: On one of the grinders, the metal cover on the grip has come unglued from the base, so it spins independently from the mechanism underneath, rendering the device almost unusable...

Love, love, ,love these tall glass salt & pepper grinders! Exactly as pictured!!! They complement my new stainless appliances and renovated kitchen. They are very easy to fill and clean and I think they are a great product. Thanks again!!!I have to update this review to 2 stars from my original 5 stars and tell you the pepper mill does not work as of the first of June. My hubby tried to grind pepper and a tiny plastic ring fell off which is a cog like piece near the grinding mechanism. It can't be put back into the mechanism as far as we can tell. So therefore please don't buy this set. While it is very attractive, it did not work for more than 3 months so it's not worth the price. I am sorry to have to downgrade my review but this product did not deliver.

I ignored the reviews stating that these are cheap and the top rim is sharp because, well... they were cheap. Within a month the top "stainless steel" came unglued and now spins and slips up and down. The edge is sharp and if you weren't gripping it very, very carefully it would slice the palm of your hand. There is no way to fix it. If not for that I'd be okay with them - the grinding mechanism functions well and I like the size. The fact that the top part spins as you're twisting it makes it barely functional, however, not to mention the potential for slicing your hand makes it a total deal breaker.

We have had the salt & pepper grinders for about 2 weeks, and the one issue we notice is that the Salt grinder, stainless steal "twister" sleeve part slides and doesn't grind the salt. The only way we can get it to work is to try to grab the black ring and the end of the top of the salt grinder part, so that it will twist, and grind the salt. The pepper grinder, does not have this issue with the stainless steal sleeve, sliding, as if it was not glued at the factory properly.Today the pepper one broke, and its no longer able to grind pepper.Dont waste your money, you will be replacing them in less than 6 months

Wow! I can grind super fine with these! They are tall and look nice. You can easily spin the dial to change coarseness. My guess is that several sellers sell these and they just market them with their own brand name. Considering that I would just purchase which ever one has the lowest price. This product was definitely nice since they DIDN'T put any ugly branding on the actual grinder like some other sellers do. Plus the company who sells these definitely cares that you are happy with your purchase. They followed up with me after my purchase.Only draw back... I washed before use and was super careful not to submerge in water. I just gently rinsed out but still water got trapped in the mechanism.

Originally 5 star and just downgraded to 2 star. Classy and work as they should. I'd buy them as a gift.The salt mill died in about 6 months. I tried to clean it and fiddle with it and still ALMOST no salt comes out no matter on the setting. This happened all of the sudden. It's upsetting cause these kinds of things have to match so I have to buy a new pair.

I purchased this item and at first I was very satisfied. They were easy to use and looked sleek in my kitchen. When grinding pink Hymalayan salt, a black ring fell off causing the grinder to quit working! I have a dollar store sea salt grinder that has lasted longer, and it's disposable! If you are looking for a grinder set that looks great, well here it is. But if you are looking for a grinder that is funct, keep looking

I've had a similar product before, but ufortunately over time, three of the them had broken/jammed. I trolled through the lists of similar, and chose these largely (and admittedly) because of the price. These are equally comparable to my original ones, and as far as I'm concerned are the best type of grinders I have used. Having bought these two, I've now ordered two more. I only use coarse sea salt, and whole peppercorns, and these grind that to whatever I require effortlessly. I usually have 4 on the go, the others containing other salt mixtures. Well pleased.

Good delivery, quality, appearance and performance.One problem with one item; defeated my and various members of my Rugby Club's efforts in separating the two sides of the grinder assembly. Resolved by application of the excellent Lakeland Universal Jar Opener!All now OK.

I have had both mills for about about 18 months (purchased August 2017). The pepper mill broke in December 2018 (surprisingly it had been used less frequently than the salt mill). I hoped the product would have lasted a lot longer. Maybe if the grinder mechanism was reinforced, we would truly have a premium product that lasts. May consider buying again if it remains at this special price.Mr Hosang, London

Having spent years buying salt and pepper grinders that were rubbish - this is a brilliant buy! Excellent product and amazing value for money! Highly recommended.....I already purchase another one for my brother! :)
