ALPS Portable Stool (Charcoal)

I purchased this chair in order to take it to the Antiques Roadshow. I am sure glad I did because the lines were tremendously long in a very hot/humid building. I needed to sit. I received many compliments from other people there wishing they had a stool like this. I've also found many other uses for it at home such as gardening and going through packed boxes in the garage. It would be great for camping it that's your thing. I have only one wish and that would be to make one that has a rectangular seat. This seat also condenses and comes with a cover that has a handle so it's easy to carry.

Dont know if I got a dud or what but upon first sitting on it one of the screws that hold the fabric across the top popped out. The weight it claims it can carry is false. Or at least false for me.

This chair is very sturdy, but heavier and bulkier than I expected. It would be great for camping, but I had planned to use it at a state fair and it just didn't seem light and portable enough to be carrying through crowds.

Better than expected! Sits fairly high, sturdy, light weight and easy to fold up and carry. I use it mostly when I’m fishing, gives me a stable seat just about anywhere.
